Sharon Marcos Amazing food! Truly the best nachos Ive ever had. The cheese seems like a mixture of shredded cheese and cheese sauce. The perfect combo in my opinion. The chips have a seasoning with a lot of flavor but not spicy. We added beef which was plain ground beef but still full of flavor. Fish and chips were good. The fish batter was bread crumb/ panko breading. Not quite what I was looking for but still good. The restaurant itself had a nice relaxing atmosphere. Ill be back again for sure!

Jeff Pelch I was traveling on a work trip on my birthday and booked a table for one since I’ve always had an amazing meal at Duke’s when I’m in Seattle. When I showed up, the host wished me a happy birthday without me even saying that it was my birthday and when I got to my table, there was a birthday card for me. What an amazing way to start the meal! I had the smoked salmon deviled eggs which were insanely good, a small Caesar salad and got the stuffed halibut entree. Wow. Absolutely amazing. After the entree, the waiter asked if he could get me a birthday dessert and I chose the carrot cake - one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back to Duke’s again soon. What an amazing team!

Becky Schroeder Halada Definitely we will be back when in town visiting my parents. The fish tank is an added touch. We dined in and had an amazing meal. Started off with Thai iced coffee and Thai coconut milk iced tea, then ordered the chicken red curry, chicken green curry, wonton soup and pork yellow curry. Impressed with the amount of veggies and meat in our curries, just superb! Was a busy Tuesday evening with lots of orders being picked up. The wait staff and cooks were fantastic and such positive energy.

Susan Fish We have eaten here several times and have been very happy with the food and service. Recently we held out 60th high school reunion here and were delighted with everything. Great service with hot and delicious food. Jami was so accommodating and helpful. We love it here!

Chris Robideau QUALITY FOOD AND EXCELENT SERVICE!!! So I was in the area this last week on a 2-day drift fishing trip. Tired and hungry we were trying to find a decent meal in the area. This place was perfect and surprised us in so many good ways. Corn jalapeño chowder is soooo good, my wifes burger was juicy real beef and so good, and the in house hand-battered fish and chips had large pieces of fresh cod. The pregnant bar tender/waitress, working hard, provided the best service we have had in a long time and we eat out a lot. I share that she was pregnant because I want her to know I am writing about her and giving her a tremendous shout out for being a great waitress, working hard while pregnant, happy and cheerful, helpful with the menu, and on her game with a smile on her face making sure our meal was great! Well done!!! She checked on us early and often, stopped by moments after our first bites to see if we were happy with the food, and was genuinely concerned about our dining experience. She went above and beyond when my wife ordered her burger with no tomatoes, and ordered a general side salad. We didnt think when ordering to hold the tomatoes from the salad, but the salad comes with tomatoes and we heard her remind the chef to hold the tomatoes on the salad, knowing my wife omitted them from her burger. It was not a big deal, but servers today seem to just go through the motions, not thinking. This lady was sharp and a great server. A couple black and tans, great food, and great service!!! Well done 8th Street Tavern!!! Oh and the restrooms were very clean...not something you see in most rural area bars. We tipped like crazy and will be back everything we co.e through the area!!! -Chris

Amanda B It was a little bit of a wait for a table, but I really liked that they have an electric waitlist that send text updates. They have inside and outside seating, which is great in the summer. I got seated outside, and the table was a little slanted so I kept sliding down the bench. It was a small thing, and it was just nice to eat outside. I liked that they had a good variety and unique options. Once the food came out it was worth the wait. Food was cooked perfect, and there was so much. I wish they offered more half portion options because I couldnt eat all of it.
