The Meltdown -Food CA (Near Mount Vernon)

Michael We went there 3 months ago (Jan, 2025). The vegan pizza was great. It was huge and very beautiful when we opened the box. We ordered the biggest size. The vegan cheese was melty and not glue like (such as Daiya cheese). The owner couldnt remember the brand of vegan cheese they used, but it tasted very good and very filling. We had plenty of leftovers. At that time there was only takeout available, no seating. There was only one person working so the wait was a bit long, we just went explore the town more and came back to pick it up.

Machal Salazar It was my first visit here. We came in to order to go as it was 17 minutes untiI close. We were immediately greeted and seated after I explained we wanted to take our food to not keep them late. Here is where I met Evie. She told us to sit down and not worry about the time. We had amazing conversation, she made incredible drinks and made me and my husband feel like family. The food would have been the best part of the night had she not made me feel like family. I could not recommend this restaurant more. The atmosphere 10/10. The drinks 10/10. The incredible service by Evie. 20/10.

Craig Newton Ricky and the staff did a great job, including his little brother Max! Food was really good. Generous portions. Pancakes were soft with a nice bite; al dente? Ricky recommended the steak tips with made with house made salsa Which I really enjoyed. I snuck a bite of my dad’s chicken fried steak and it was yummy too. I’d order both again. I’ll be back!

Adrien Hello Very good food with very friendly owners, only gripe is I wish they put a little less salt.

Lorena Snyder This place is quite unique. The staff was very friendly. We had a reservation so we didnt have to wait to be seated. The place was nicely decorated. All the food was delicious. The plates have rather large portions. I highly recommend the jalapeño chicken, Ceasar salad, and Brussel sprouts.
