Avant Lard Travel - by Houston Porter What a great spot for some excellent food in Port Townsend. We were actually some of their very first customers way back when they opened just prior to the pandemic and are so glad they not only survived, but at thriving because they have only gotten better with time. First off, we love that they have the local Port Townsend Brewing Company beers on tap. Second, we never pass up on a salmon chowder and this one is excellent, as was the delicious Reuben pastie and the crab Mac n cheese. The menu is fairly extensive and they also do daily specials, which add a nice change of pace. Third, we were there this time during some very cold weather but they keep the place warm enough that it was quite enjoyable to dine in, instead of taking our food to go, as we often do. Although unassuming from the outside, this is an excellent dining option when visiting Portugal Townsend.

Todd Buckley Right off I-5 and 512, you’ll find a spot serving a solidly good breakfast daily. It’s not flashy, but the staff is warm, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the food hits the spot. The biscuits and scones are baked fresh daily, and the coffee is always on point. If you’re craving breakfast, especially biscuits and gravy, this is the place to go.

Estefany Ortega Food was so good, we got the crispy chicken sandwich and the turkey club. The food was so fresh and hot, the ice cream was also very creamy. The diner is retro and cozy. Favorite dining spot in Bellingham

stan yu Great selections of pastas and other dishes. I had the pasta with clams and the pasta was cooked perfectly and there were plenty of clam in the dish. The only issue we had was with the outdoor seating. Although it was a nice and quiet evening, the bees were out and were quite bothersome

Rainy it’s actually pretty hard to find a place that truly gets Korean food right, but this place is one I can confidently vouch for. I ordered the Galchi Jorim (braised hairtail) and Gamjatang (pork bone soup), and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, well-balanced, and tasted just like proper home-style Korean food. Everything was seasoned perfectly, not too salty or bland. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to other Korean food lovers.

Nicole Tilton A few things weren’t our fav. The ranch is a buttermilk ranch which we didn’t like, and the marinara was not very good, BUT the service was spectacular! My son didn’t like the kids spaghetti due to the sauce, which was a bit odd tasting, so they immediately switched it for their Alfredo no problem, and the Alfredo was suuuuuper good! I had the Philly cheese stake sandwich which was really good too! Definitely worth a stop if you’re going through :)
