Adrienne Lotto I am most seriously impressed by the açaí bowl I had here. The smoothie mixture had the perfect texture, and they were very generous with the toppings. The fruit tasted very fresh. It was much better than any Playa Bowl I’ve had. I tasted the strawberries and cream too, which were also delicious.

Blair Davidson We recently had a Christmas buffet here with our family for 2025, I had never been here before, but I was overall very pleased with the assortment of choices. I spent most of my calories eating the prime rib and other meat selections (meat balls, ham, bacon in small quantities). Surprisingly, everything tasted fresh and organic (especially the strawberries and fruits), certainly a higher quality than you normally expect at a buffet. All of the staffing were extremely courteous and attentive, even though it was a self-serving setting. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, and they even offered a small trinket/ornament for your Christmas tree upon arriving back home. I would definitely go back with my family again.

tim thompson I can only speak to the sushi because that is all I ordered. I eat sushi at least 2 x a week for the last 30 years and I honestly don’t expect much as the reviews were average at best. But I was blown away by the quality of the fish, the flavor and texture of the rolls and the price was better than 90 % of the places around the valley and tri cities. I’ve found one of my favorites! I’ll be back for sure

J W The best sandwiches literally. I LOVE the jalapeno bread for the Turkey cranberry sandwich. Actually very affordable for that given how good it is. They have great chicken tenders as well. My hubby got the turkey club that was delicious and before that, the Hot Oly. Love supporting this local place!!

F Jordan This is quite possibly the most idyllic resort in the state of Washington. The history is fascinating, the location is unbeatable and the available restaurants and small store will cover all of your basic needs. The grounds are meticulously maintained and beautiful at any time of the year (though the spring and mid-summer are the most colorful). This an obvious wedding destination, so it can be quite busy groom May to October. Make reservations and plan ahead. The town of Friday Harbor is about 20-25 minutes away and offers pretty much anything else you could need, including many more restaurant options. The drive between Roche Harbor and Friday Harbor is beautiful any time of year and is also just worth it to get a better "feel" of San Juan Island. Dont debate, just visit!
