Rose Sitton From the moment we stepped into Bruces Place, it was clear that the service was going to be a highlight of the evening. We were welcomed upon entering and met with smiles from all the staff. Our server, Rachel, was attentive without being intrusive. They had an in-depth knowledge of the menu and made several thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. The pacing of the meal was perfect—each course arrived at just the right time, allowing us to savor every bite without feeling rushed. She is by far the most amazing server I have ever had the pleasure to be served by not just in Ellensburg but everywhere. She was amazing and made the evening dinner great. I was so impressed by the attention to detail I raved about it to my mother and took her the next chance possible and the service was top tier as well! What truly stood out was the personalized touch in every interaction and the to go boxes had the name of the food we ordered, date, and a note from Rachel and Bruces place as a whole. The service wasn’t just efficient—it was genuinely warm and welcoming, and that made the entire experience so much more memorable. It’s rare to find a restaurant where service feels so seamlessly integrated into the dining experience. I left feeling not only satisfied with the meal but genuinely appreciative of the outstanding service. If youre looking for a place this is by far one of my most favorite places in town.

jennifer thompson The Oxbow is an amazing small town fine dining establishment with an upscale city atmosphere. Whether it’s a chill Wednesday night burger and beer or it’s a fancy Saturday night special date night with premium aged beef and all the fixins, this is your spot. The bar is totally legit with fantasticly delightful cocktails and badass top shelf bourbon options. Shout out to all the bar staff and bar backs- keep up the great work! Please keep the rotating local beers and whiskey. ( we are not a tequila and cheap draft beer bar- for those of you that are newer) Please bring back our local craft rotating beers and whiskey/ bourbons. The dinner menu is tastefully thoughtful and seasonal with complementary dishes that represent the absolute best of the Northwest. My husband and I have supported Chef Alex and his Exceptional Staff since opening day. What really sets the Oxbow apart from other places is the staff- you know who I’m talking about! Yes you might need reservations at times. Yes you might need to wait. Yes things sell out or are no longer available some evening. This is what a true real-food dining experience is- for those of you that give bad ratings due to that, just move on. And to those of you now curious for exquisite representation and endless efforts toward a spectacular Sumner dining experience, see you there! Kendal Harr Wow. This is great bbq. The rub they use is awesome.At first the bbq sauce, wasnt spicy enough for me (husband loved it). They brought out a second option, just yummy!! Highly recommend ribs and brisket!

Genisis Stanley We came in around 7:40 after calling at 7:30, a I was extremely worried since the website said they close at 8. I never want to be that guest who keeps the team late, so we made sure to ask multiple times if it was okay and that we wouldn’t be upsetting the kitchen by coming in close to closing. Every single person we spoke to especially the host team was incredibly kind and welcoming. They reassured us and made us feel completely comfortable about coming in. When we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and seated right away with edamame and water. I started asking for menu recommendations, and Kamalani went above and beyond! She shared several options, described each dish in detail, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. She wasn’t even our server, but she absolutely deserves recognition for her attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm. I’d love to see her as a server next time we dine here! Our server, Genevieve, was equally wonderful friendly, knowledgeable, and on point with her timing and recommendations. The entire team worked together everyone was attentive without being intrusive. The food itself was excellent. Our ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare, flavorful, and definitely a high-quality cut. Every dish we ordered was balanced. A great sense of professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality. The Woven team really hit the mark tonight, and we’ll absolutely be back. The ribeye will definitely be our go-to every visit!

Erika Knauf Torres I cannot say enough great things about this place! Great food with low prices. I go every single week. The milkshakes and floats are so good! Seafood for under $20 is such a good deal. It’s nice it’s order to go too, no servers or having to sit down for the food, it’s such a great order and go. I suggest you call ahead of time on your way for the food. They are pretty busy but work so hard to get it out as fast as possible.
