Southport Kitchen & Market - Renton

Rating: 4.9 /5
Giselle M We stopped by while hanging out at coulon park and this place surprised me. They sell everything like a convenience store and especially they also sell banh mi and foccacia. I have Viet classic banh mi and it’s so delicious. The crispy baguette paired with tender, juicy hams add some egg butter and pate gives it a creamy richness. We will come back to try their foccacia for sure!

Willamette Valley Vineyards - Vancouver Waterfront - Vancouver

Rating: 4.7 /5
Ben Madison Tiffany was our hostess at the Willamette Valley Vineyards along the Columbia River, and she was awesome. Super knowledgeable about the history of the vineyard, all the different wine offerings, and she gave excellent recommendations and tasting notes. Our charcuterie board and oysters were delicious. They featured local honeycomb from the Willamette Valley and oysters from Totten Inlet, which made it feel extra special and we loved the “local” vibe. We especially loved the White Pinot Noir (we ended up buying 6 bottles). Tiffany explained that it comes from separating the grape juice from the skins almost immediately, so it doesn’t take on that typical dark red color. The taste isn’t as tannic as your usual Pinot Noir. I thought it was light, refreshing, and smooth… I could EASILY polish off a whole bottle myself. The welcoming staff, relaxed atmosphere, and beautiful views make this a must-do if you’re in the Vancouver area.

Cody’s brisket - West Richland

Rating: 4.8 /5
Blake Nelson Incredible experience overall. When I arrived, no host, no staff, no signage—just vibes. I briefly questioned whether I was committing a crime, but it turns out Cody’s Grill operates on a bold honor system model. Very progressive. Seating is open-concept and fluid. I sat where I felt spiritually called. The décor says “guy who owns a grill” and nothing more, which I respect. The self-serve element is truly next level. I grilled my own food, grabbed my own drink, and at one point considered Venmoing myself. Empowering. The chef never appeared, which added a mysterious, Michelin-adjacent energy. You can feel Cody watching from somewhere inside the house, trusting you to flip at the right time. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys great food, minimal supervision, and the faint thrill of trespassing. Five stars. Would accidentally host again.

1928 Tap and Grill - Seattle

Rating: 4.1 /5
Helen Berg Husband and I couldnt decide where to have dinner so started to wonder and ended up at 1928 Tap and Grill. Its very inviting and comfortable. Service was prompt and food was delicious. Good size servings. Hubby had the cheese burger and raved about it and loved the fries. I had the orange chicken which was light, fresh and filling. Well definitely go back next time were in Seattle.
