Kay - Happy Trails Hiking Came at lunch on a Saturday in the Fall. It was our first visit. BBQ is all made on site. We were welcomed quickly and warmly. We had a Chicken Sandwich plate and a rib plate. After we had ordered, we noticed the PIE. Pecan for the win!! We highly recommend that you stop into Smokey’s when you are in Ellensburg.

Jennifer Sparrs This was my first time ordering a take out order and I was not disappointed. The garlic fries are fantastic! The pickle chips were tasty. I got boneless wings with honey bbq on half and garlic on the other half. Both sauces were really good. My daughter loved her kids boneless wings order. My boyfriend got 1st degree sauce and said it wasn’t crazy spicy but still had a really good flavor. My order was ready on time and the service was great. We will definitely be ordering again!

CoCo A-S The Aroz Con Pollo is AMAZING! Definitely 2-3 meals worth. It is excellent! Tastes just like it should. I’ve had it in many restaurants & have been so disappointed. Not by this restaurant! It’s perfect. They gave us tons of chips as well. Everything was perfect & we’ll definitely order again, and we’ll have to dine in too sometime! This was delivered.

CoCo A-S Edit: This round we pretty much ordered the same thing. The white rice is like glue. The chicken is end pieces & hard. The sauce sticks to the roof of my mouth? My daughter’s veggie rice is great but something is way off with my chicken & rice. I don’t know what’s in the teriyaki, but it’s not the same & it’s terrible. Maybe a new cook who doesn’t care? We had DoorDash pick up for us. I was leery, last time that I ordered teriyaki elsewhere, it was a TINY amount for a HIGH price. This was nearly $50 with delivery, but my daughter & I received enough {fresh} food to last us a few meals a piece! It was absolutely worth it & delicious! There’s nothing that I would change about our meals. Arrived late because it was delivered elsewhere, but it was still good! We’ll definitely be return customers. The vegetarian rice is amazing & so is the white meat chicken & rice. So worth it!

Susan Stenger We love this place! The owner, Blake, gave great service and wonderful tableside convos. I have the black and blue burger with some kind of amazing jam and it was so many layers of wonderful flavors! Highly recommended. Several bar areas and one even large enough for big groups. Rich brick and wood interior.

Connor C. Our favorite restaurant in Ellensburg. Such a cozy space with amazing drinks and even better food. The specials are always fresh and interesting while the main menu is full of great choices. The sliders and brussels sprouts are to die for.

Becky Schroeder Halada Definitely we will be back when in town visiting my parents. The fish tank is an added touch. We dined in and had an amazing meal. Started off with Thai iced coffee and Thai coconut milk iced tea, then ordered the chicken red curry, chicken green curry, wonton soup and pork yellow curry. Impressed with the amount of veggies and meat in our curries, just superb! Was a busy Tuesday evening with lots of orders being picked up. The wait staff and cooks were fantastic and such positive energy.

We were welcomed upon entering and met with smiles from all the staff. Our server, Rachel, was attentive without being intrusive. They had an in-depth knowledge of the menu and made several thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. The pacing of the meal was perfect—each course arrived at just the right time, allowing us to savor every bite without feeling rushed. She is by far the most amazing server I have ever had the pleasure to be served by not just in Ellensburg but everywhere. She was amazing and made the evening dinner great. I was so impressed by the attention to detail I raved about it to my mother and took her the next chance possible and the service was top tier as well! What truly stood out was the personalized touch in every interaction and the to go boxes had the name of the food we ordered, date, and a note from Rachel and Bruces place as a whole. The service wasn’t just efficient—it was genuinely warm and welcoming, and that made the entire experience so much more memorable. It’s rare to find a restaurant where service feels so seamlessly integrated into the dining experience. I left feeling not only satisfied with the meal but genuinely appreciative of the outstanding service. If youre looking for a place this is by far one of my most favorite places in town.

Jamie Barton Oh wow delicious sandwich I got the Turkeylisous so good made with perfection! And oh the potato salad and sugar cookie and the candy TOP NOTCH!! Sweet people working & very relaxing calming atmosphere. Definitely 10/10

Jordan C. Really delicious bagels! Driving through on a road trip and decided to stop here. 40 minutes before they closed the drive thru line was crazy long! However we ordered at the walk up window and there was no wait at all. Our group got the kids turkey & cheese, kids PB&J, the Ruben, and the bacon egg and cheese. The Ruben was incredible- I recommend it on an onion bagel. Everything was so good we went back for two more bagels to share- plain bagel with plain cream cheese and a Parmesan pesto bagel with garden veggie cream cheese. The only thing I didn’t really care for was the side of pasta salad. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t what I was expecting. The service was great and they have limited outdoor seating. There is a porta potty on site (no actual restroom) but did not see any hand sanitizer on site. Definitely recommend and would return.
