Cellar Door - Visalia

Rating: 4.4 /5
Alonzo Chavez Ulises connects with everybody on a personal level. Whether it be your first time meeting him, he treats you like a good friend. The Cellar Door’s atmosphere has risen since he’s been a part of the staff team. Plus him being the bartender there >>

Calabash - Oakland

Chie B. Went to watch a comedy show. The show was nice, not all comedians were funny tho. But regardless, we had some laughs. The place has a nice ambiance. Clean kitchen, clean bathroom. Its quaint and it is good for date night, girls out, family get together. We had oxtail, salad and ribs. They were all good and tasty and flavorful. Unfortunately, the cocktails werent as good. Would definitely go back for the ambiance and food though.

The Curious Palate - Santa Monica

Rating: 4.7 /5
savvy saffy I don’t proclaim to be a foodie and don’t usually post a review but this place is worth a shout at! Fabulous food that pairs interesting ingredients which give each a distinct flavor, and when mixed together is surprisingly great tasting on the palate. We had the persimmon burrata, broccoli cauliflower with swordfish (switch this out for shrimps is recommended), garlic hummus.

Rohi Zacharia The place is very nice. Right on the water. We had an issue with our table leaning but staff allowed us to move. Food was delicious and well prepared. Side note, water is tripled filtered which is nice as the city water doesnt taste nice.

Chef Burma - Sacramento

Rating: 4.6 /5
Greg S Chef Burma has been on our hit list for some time now. Finally made it in for dinner and we were not disappointed. Situated on the corner of 16th and K Streets, there is lots of parking nearby and on the street. The decor is clean and contemporary. Nothing fancy but clean and welcoming. We were greeted by Rachel, who indicated she would also be our server for the night. Very friendly and efficient throughout the dinner. She let us peruse the menu and then offered some suggestions based on what we told her we like which helped with how much we ordered. Everything we ordered was a menu price plus $1 for the protein (seafood is more). We had the Lettuce Wraps with chicken, Eggplant with garlic sauce, Basil chili beef, and the Burmese style Pad Thai with chicken. We also asked for a side of chili oil just in case we needed it... Lettuce wraps came out first which gave us time to enjoy them before the other two dishes came out. Everything was excellent in flavor and quality. Even though we requested our spice level to be hot, we are glad we had the chili oil as well. We like our food very spicy when available. We now have Chef Burma on our "list to return" for another meal... or more.
