Almond and Oak - (Near Oakland, CA)

Brian Brower Heard about this new place in Visalia serving up brunch and a full bar, and I knew I had to try it. I made reservations through their website (highly recommend doing this!) because the place is packed—especially on weekends. If you want a table on Saturday or Sunday, do yourself a favor and reserve ahead. The atmosphere is amazing—total mid-century vibe with upbeat music that gives the whole place great energy. The music is a little louder than usual, but it actually makes it more fun and family-friendly since you don’t have to worry about kids being too noisy. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Nothing else in town compares. The flavors are off the charts, and everything was perfectly done. They also have a full bar, so you can stop in just for a drink or enjoy one of their craft cocktails or Bloody Marys with brunch. Service was top-notch from start to finish. This place is definitely going to be a hit. We’ll absolutely be coming back. You must try Sunny Hide Up!

G. Tony (agia) Unassuming place from the outside. We got the Baked Ziti with Shrimp and the Salmon. Also had an Ahi Tartare Wonton which was quite flavorful and finished up with a banana dessert. Food was delicious and the service top notch. Our fabulous waiter was Serge -- same guy from Toastd.

Jesse Villarruel Where do I start! The place is super friendly and super clean!! This was my first time here as it’s a newer restaurant in town and boy was I blown away! No other place I’d rather get Pho locally. The prices are soooooo good and the portions are big! I never leave reviews on anything but I would love seeing this family restaurant flourish!! It’s so good I wish you could taste it!!!

Dane Brehm Beautiful Lakeside Restaurant thats stood the test of time and has only gotten better. This rustic wood garnished gem has everything you need and oozes Atmosphere. My wife and I spent our Anniversary enjoying the bar/lounge while our table was set. Once seated started with the Diver Scallop app before we moved on to the Elk Medallions over Risotto, and a Bison (osso bucco style) entre. The Elk was perfect! We then washed it down with a incredible 2017 bottle of Ridolfi Brunello. It was magical. We look forward to enjoying this beautiful place again in the winter.

Alice C I added salmon on my falafel salad. It was great! There were some events/meeting on the first floor during my stay, and people would sitting in at the restaurant and work on their devices/chat around. It was a good experience at Chaffeys.
