JEFFERY COMER We had a great dining experience thanks to our server Anna and her suggestions. We started with the Caesar salad and the soup of the day, which was cream of mushroom. I had the buffalo meatloaf, which was fantastic while my wife had to New York strip which she also enjoyed. Watched a little of the World Series while we were eating our dinner and a sports themed baseball dining room. Got the carrot cake to go cause we’re too full after having such a wonderful meal.

Rhonda Steines First time here. The service was great, food was delicious. I got the salmon with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. My husband got the ribeye with loaded baked potato and green beans. Both meals came with salads. Meals were terrific, our waiter was great. Satisfied with the food.

La Ronda Restaurant Peruvian Cuisine - San Mateo

Khiem Nguyen Top marks for me mate. The food, service, and appearance. This is what its all about. Youve gotta view the plates here more as family style. At least, thats how I think theyre best enjoyed. Otherwise, the desserts and the food portions would be too extravagant. Ok, to start you off, theyll bring sliced bread to your table with butter and a tomatillo salsa. The salsa isnt spicy, like 1/16 of a seedless jalapeno. The bread has a crisp but is still soft. The beef heart appetizer, the anticucho de corazon is fine. They cook it well but the flesh is still too adjacent to a liver for my liking but for those who even mildly enjoy liver, it would be a huge hit. The green salsa you get at the start pairs better than the regular salsa provided. The corn is great. Nice, large, poppable pieces. A great change of pace from the smaller sweet corn. The La Ronda plate and all its components come with my urnest recommendation. I can assuredly say, from what Ive tried for the La Ronda, that the paella and the calamari dishes are absolute primo. The ceviche was also great though the fish was a little tiresome. And thats just the food. The service here is the best Ive received at the Bay at any price point. Thats more of shade on the Bay, but our server was extremely attendant. We were probably visited 2 digit times during our stay.

Ali C May 2025: I visited at lunchtime for a work lunch. Small group of 5, we were seated immediately at a large round table. Pepsi-based soda and unsweetened iced tea available. Plenty combo plates options. I ordered a lean brisket combo with corn bread and fries. In hindsight, I probably should have chosen sometime less fried as they were quite oily. The brisket was offered to be either lean or fatty. The lean slices I received were quite tender and easy to bite, no butter knife needed. We ordered a sampler plate for the table. The burnt ends were drenched in a sticky sweet sauce. Quite good, actually. Food arrived fairly quickly as the place wasnt that full. My table said that the chicken quarter was a little dry in some places. Brisket, pulled pork, and ribs are all very solidly flavored and well liked. Good option for lunch for a group that doesnt need vegetarian options. Seating: There were several booths nearby (for 4 or less people) as well as smaller tables. Lighting inside was somewhat dim in the middle of the room, likely brighter near windows. Drink: Soda refills took a little while to find someone, but the cups are large and didnt need many refills. Water refills were quick. Parking: Free lot in the plaza shared with several other customers.

Pho Royal - Jackson

Ruslan B Ive had pho/banh mi all over south sac and Seattle but this is still hands down the best pho and banh mi Ive ever had. The bread on the banh mi is always warm and soft. Slight crunch on the crust. Meat always juicy and the pickle carrots/daikon super delicious. The banh mi comes with bit of mayo and patte which should be standard but youd be surprised how many places dont include that. The broth is always rich with flavor and they have a good portion balance. Owners are super nice and attentive, and the vibe of the shop is calm and cozy. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Amador, were truly lucky to have them.

Saigon Restaurant - Tracy

Harsha Lakshmanan There is Vietnamese and then there is this Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant on Naglee Road in Tracy that elevates flavor to a whole different level. I had the Saigon Beef Stew Noodle Soup and the Saigon Crispy Eggrolls and both were superb! The soup was so good that it was hard to stop drinking it even when I was full. The potions are huge. If you add the excellent service, very helpful staff and quick delivery of the food, this has to be one of the best places to eat!!
