Kudos to the team. But the food was nowhere near that. Best dishes: Lamb chop and Sesame oil duck noodles • These two dishes were the best out of everything they served, but it wasn’t mind blowing. To level set, the bar was really low for these 2 to make it to the top. The not so good: (nod to the fresh ingredients used) • Everything else on the menu. Missing flavors. The crudos were a huge disappointment. If you’re telling me that these ingredients were used, I expect to taste them. • The flavor profile for each item was flat and monotonous. It was very painful sitting thru the entire dinner (2.5+ hours) where you were served food that consistently fell short of expectations. • Look at the tofu pudding they served at the end. Maybe do 1 good dessert, instead of making 2. Overall: I think they shld focus on what they do best. Focus on quality and not quantity. I really appreciate their fusionizing attempt, but it was not good at all. Also, hot food were served slightly cooler than room temperature, except for the noodle dish. If you’d ask if I’ll return, I’d probably say no.

5 /5 Shiyuan Yu: Such a hidden gem! The food here is so good — super flavorful and tastes really authentic. You can tell they put a lot of effort into every dish. The space is cute and elegant but still feels cozy, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Totally recommend coming here with friends or family. It’s great for sharing dishes and just enjoying a chill, delicious meal. Don’t skip the desserts, they’re amazing!

5 /5 Rey Chou: As someone who loves Taiwanese food, I’ve probably tried almost every Taiwanese spot in LA, and of course I couldn’t miss this one. My first visit happened to be their special Mid-Autumn Festival tasting menu, which was such a perfect way to experience the chef’s creativity and skills. Although the menu listed 14 courses, it honestly felt like over 20 dishes with how generous the portions were definitely great value. The skewers and tempura came in multiple varieties, and I loved the little touch of yuzu sorbet in between courses to refresh the palate. Every dish was beautifully presented, almost like a Taiwanese version of omakase. Their drinks are just as creative as the food. The cocktail menu is impressive and playful, but if you don’t drink, their fruit tea and milk tea are just as satisfying and very true to flavor. The restaurant itself feels upscale yet comfortable, with two large private dining rooms that make it perfect for gatherings. It’s a spot I’d definitely choose for family dinners or get-togethers with friends, plenty of dishes that both adults and kids would enjoy, paired with attentive service.

5 /5 Vidal Cruz: Very clean soft cozy but modern feel. Exceptional service. All members of the team were so attentive to every detail. Ensuring you felt like you were receiving a custom tailored service. Never once did I have an empty glass at the table. The food was fantastic. Simple yet exceptional flavors. The smoked duck, the soup and the baked fish. You cant go wrong with any of them. Followed by the great flavor of the Sweet potato balls, stuffed with a warm, sweet and creamy red bean curd. Definitely worth a visit.
