Pete Rem We were in town for a mini vacation and wanted to try Annies Cafe, based on the reviews and the location. Sitting right off of the freeway in Temecula, its easy to find and get to. There are a few British photo-op props you can take pictures with while waiting to be seated, or even afterwards. They also have a small merchandise area, in case you wanted a small souvenir.
We arrived bright and early around 730 on a Saturday, and it filled up very quickly. While Im not sure if its a weekend special or a daily special, there was a chalkboard out in front highlighting a $12.99 steak and eggs special before 9AM. AMAZING deal. The steak is cooked to order, and you have a few options to choose from, and decent options....not cheap menu fillers. Probably why it filled up so quickly.
Service is fast and friendly, and for larger groups, there are small table extenders that connect two together - great as a space-saver for fixed booths and tables. Boysenberry syrup is available for you pancake, waffle and french toast lovers!
The food is good, and will fill you up...also another reason why the restaurant filled up so quickly. While there may be quite a few options nearby for breakfast and brunch, you wont be disappointed with the fluffy french toast, waffles, pancakes and the savory food.
