Jess Keeth Oh my God, go get you some of those pickles! The food is always good, Chelseas been our server multiple times now and she provides excellent service. They even tolerate my silly dog, thats a feat in itself. Thank you so much!

A Taste of Bim | Caribbean Cuisine - Eureka

Rating: 4.3 /5
Jennifer Pizzuto My husband and I were traveling through and decided to try this AMAZING restaurant in Eureka. Taste of Bim did not disappoint. The food was fresh, locally sourced, and was absolutely delicious. I had the fried chicken and it was so flavorful, including the rice and peas, and the veggies! Don’t get a salad! My husband had the oxtail and cleaned every bone. Even the ice cream was out of this world. So glad to support a local small family run business, and I know that if we ever come this way again, Taste of Bim will be on our list of stops.

Sean Hull Nice hole in the wall eatery. Portions were good and food tastes great. Interesting atmosphere. The left half is a diner the right half is like a bar. Only con is the location, its at a weird intersection and the neighborhood felt a little sketchy, but I am from out of town, so I dont really know.

The Foodie Cafe - Chico

Rating: 4.8 /5
Maggie Anderson I found The Foodie Cafe while looking for places in the area that have monte cristo sandwiches, my moms favorite. We havent found any that dip the whole sandwich, but my mom said that The Foodie Cafes donut monte cristo was the best shes had of all of the monte cristos in Chico. She appreciated that there wasnt a weird sauce on it, like the one at Cheesecake Factory, and said that the donut gave it the same vibe as the whole thing being dipped in batter rather than just a sandwich on French toast. We both enjoyed the fresh fruit that came with our food.

Sizzling Lunch - Fremont

Rating: 4.3 /5
P Wong The gimmick of this franchise is that food is served on hot cast-iron plates, hence the "sizzling". It results in butter-burned texture on the rice and meat, definitely not something you can experience from an average takeout place. The food itself is solid and filling, but comes with almost no seasoning by default. Even though the dishes are named "pepper" dishes they have zero noticeable kick. You have to add salt and pepper to give the food some real pop. Presumably the spicy dishes come with more pepper. The restaurant staff was attentive. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code at the table, but payment is done at the cashier.
