Chinese Garden Restaurant - (Near Yuba City, CA)

5 /5 Bob Bently: This place is great. My Dad was always telling me how he liked this place, and now I see why. The food here is super fresh, everything is made right before you eat it. The serving sizes are good, and my group was able to eat for a reasonable price. The people here are super nice, and the service is great. Everyone in my group loved it here, and so did I. It stays open fairly late also, so I would recommend it to anyone.

5 /5 NorCal Wood Wildcat: Plain and simple you dont get to be in business for 30 years unless you are doing something right. The Chinese Garden restaurant is one of my favorites places in Yuba city. When I lived in Plumas Lake nearly 10 years ago we loved coming to this area because every restaurant had the home made, family owned flavor that you dont get from chain restaurants. Although we are back in Sacramento, we come here whenever we have a chance. Although it wasnt in the menu, our waitress accommodated our request for some Chicken Fried rice, Orange Chicken and soup combo. The soup is simple the best one around, including the Sac are. The mushroom and peas add the perfect touch to the soup. The Orange chicken was fresh and full of flavor. Sadly we have gotten used to the extra sweet flavor of fried rice from places like Panda express, and although the rice here was not over the top sweet, it was tasteful. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming. You have the glass table top covering what looks to be beautiful Chinese designs and the walls also display gorgeous artwork. If you ever happen to be around the area and want to enjoy Chinese food, I highly recommend The Chinese Garden!

3 /5 illyanna Maisonet: Food is cooked to order, so it was piping hot. The batter on the old-school fried shrimp was so delicious, but the shrimp was so small. You took one bite and the rest was batter. Wish they used a larger shrimp. Sweet and sour pork was excellent. Ordered Kung Pao chicken without celery and wanted to sub zucchini, she said they didnt have zucchini (which is normally in the other dish I get: cashew chicken). Instead they put a lot of finely diced water chestnuts. However, they really need to get that bathroom smell under control. We were going to eat inside, but decided on takeout because there was just no way we could manage sitting inside with that smell.

5 /5 Kylee Glaspell: Ive been coming to this place as a kid, my whole dads side of the family have been coming here for over 20 years! One of the best places ever! We absolutely love Anna/Ana, every time my dads back in town from trucking this is the first place we go every time when its open! We usually do take outs but sometimes we go inside to eat and usually theres never a wait. When we do takeout, it usually takes about 20 minutes till were able to pick it up which is never bad since we do errands while we wait. We always get the chicken chowmein, chicken/pork fried rice, sweet n sour chicken, beef and broccoli, foil chicken, egg flour soup, egg rolls, and some other things sometimes but thats our main order. The food is always delicious and my favorite is the chowmein and fried rice with some of the soup poured over it!! I never have any complaints towards them and we might be going over there again soon!:)
