Chinns International - Modesto

Rating: 4.7 /5
Ivan Baez Chinns International has quickly become one of my favorite spots to grab a great beer and some amazing food in the Modesto area. The owner, Patrick, does an awesome job keeping the beers on tap in rotation, so it’s always exciting to stop by and see what new options are available. They also have a solid selection of canned beers that you can enjoy there or take home for later. Just like the beer, the food menu is always evolving. Patrick regularly adds new specialty items, which keeps things fresh and interesting. The menu blends Asian and Latin influences in creative ways—dishes like the Birria Ramen and Birria Egg Rolls are must-tries. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, I definitely recommend it. The food and drinks are top-notch, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I genuinely love this place—it keeps me coming back and bringing friends along for a great time every time.

Tribute Hollywood - Los Angeles

Jesi A Happy hour margarita was strong but well balanced with the other ingredients. Wings and fries were perfectly crispy. Wedge salad was good but it wasn’t a wedge. More like a chopped salad.

MandiXpress Restaurant - Riverside

Rating: 5 /5
Ryan Assali Fantastic Mandi restaurant. We had the whole chicken Mandi and split it between two big guys and we barely finished it. We ordered the Yemeni bread (not pictured) and it was bigger than the plate and very fluffy and flavorful. The combination with the yogurt sauce and veggie salsa is just amazing. No need to drive all the way to Anaheim for good Mandi dishes. Definitely this restaurant is worth going back to. Interestingly, they also have a drive thru too.
