Danny Huang We were pleasantly surprised to find ZENSHI Handcrafted Sushi inside a supermarket along our route to Yosemite. This is a great grab-and-go option for travelers—super convenient, especially if you’re on a tight schedule. The location is ideal, right on a popular road that many tourists take heading into the park. For being so close to Yosemite, the prices are really reasonable, and the quality is better than expected. You wouldn’t normally think to find decent sushi in a spot like this, but it’s actually pretty nice. Definitely a solid option if you’re looking for a quick, fresh meal on the way in or out of the park!

Brandon Ward We typically avoid restaurants in hotels but this place turned out to be quite amazing. Local ingredients and a modern menu. Everything we had was high quality and tasted amazing. I live in Napa and look forward to my next visit. Well done, Little Summer! Also, there were plenty of options for the vegetarians in your party.

H NH I’d like to give Foray 4.5 stars but think the overall experience deserves to be rounded up. my husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday night and got the 3 course dinners with wine pairings. He started with the scallops (very good) and I the tartare (excellent!) then he had the tuna (very good!) and I the risotto (good). We finished with the bread pudding (excellent) and the dark chocolate tres leche (very good). The service was very good although they could never quite keep up with my water consumption (which I recognize is very high). The pairings were good but I did not feel they truly lifted the food to a new level. I felt the risotto could have been better—it needed chunks of mushrooms cooked inside it with a deeper umami punch rather than just raw, foraged mushroom on top (although that’s is very fun). Every course was presented absolutely beautifully. We did have a lovely evening and enjoyed the ambiance.

Jeremy Cowin Enjoy Local lives up to its name in every way. The food is excellent, the beer and wine selection is outstanding, and the whole place has such a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel right at home. What really sets this place apart is the incredible local selection—snacks, spices, crafts, drinks, and unique items you won’t find anywhere else. It’s the perfect mix of great food, great drinks, and supporting local all in one stop. Every time we’re in town, this is a must-visit for us. If you appreciate good food, great drinks, and locally made products, you’ll love this place.
