Fulldistance Going This is a busy family run restaurant. Make a reservation during peak times is my suggestion. The service is super friendly and fast and they make you feel special. The ambiance is warm, vibrant and reminds of Mexican hacienda. The servings are generous. The food overall is well presented and tasty. Yup, try this restaurant. You will like it.

Deyala Abdoh What an absolute delight! The cozy atmosphere and the delicious food made us feel right at home. We started with the sampler plate and calamari. So fresh and flavorful. We also tried the gyro and shawarma sandwiches. Both fantastic options. A huge thank you to Waseem for going above and beyond to make our visit so special. His kindness, hospitality, and passion for what he does truly shine through. We felt more like guests in a home than customers in a restaurant. Taylor Cava I just dined at Abuelitas house, a fantastic Peruvian restaurant that truly impressed me. The food was exceptional, with the ceviche and lomo saltado standing out as flavorful highlights. My kids loved the tallarines verdes con pollo, and the menu offered a great variety for everyone. The service was excellent our server was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for families. Despite some negative reviews I saw online, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. I highly recommend Abuelitas house for anyone seeking authentic Peruvian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!

Tanner Johns Discovery is an instant hit in Chico. Owned by Chico locals, the ambiance is exactly what Im looking for while dining out with family or stopping by for a drink at the bar. The restaurant, bar, and restrooms were all clean and the whole place felt comfortable and welcoming. The staff is friendly and the food was prepared quickly and was DELICIOUS. My chicken sandwich was excellent and I dont know what they fermented the coleslaw cabbage/carrots in but it was divine. Coleslaw can be such an afterthought at most restaurants but this was most definitely not the case. It was also served with a generous portion of string fries cooked excellently and not too greasy. Note: the picture of the chicken sandwich was after Id helped myself to a handful (or two) of fries. Mississippi Mud Cake was divine. My kids devoured the buttery noodles and grilled cheese sandwich. The whole family was VERY happy and well definitely be going back. I wish Id taken more photos before my family had devoured everything.

Felicia Asuncion Everything about this restaurant was a great experience. The place was clean, and our waiter was awesome. The staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed my grilled New Year steak 12 oz. Try it out, you wont regret it! We also had dessert, and that was really good as well. Its called warm bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. I recommend making a reservation.
