Yolanda King Stopped by yesterday afternoon between lunch and dinner and it was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect time to go! (It was busy when we got there but emptied out as we were finishing up, so got some photos) The burger was delicious. The Martins potato buns and the Woolies sauce were a perfect touch, oh and that black cherry, tarragon soda! The building was restored beautifully to its original beauty. Thank you so much for all the hard work that has gone into this, for all of us to enjoy. So nostalgic from my childhood. I will be back the next time I’m up visiting Bakersfield. How can I forget to mention the employees. Everybody was friendly, especially the cashier.

Ronald de los Santos Texas BBQ is their specialty but I opted for the liver and onions that they have served since 1927! I was not disappointed. For $17, you get two thick beef liver slabs smothered with onions on top. Sides were vegetables and mashed potatoes with gravy. Heavenly! The wife had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with fries. Also excellent! They have 3 bbq sauce containers at the table: sweet, house and spicy. Im sure youll find one suited to your taste. For dessert, we had the cinnamon roll. Their specials screen mentions that their cinnamon rolls are the best in town. I would have to agree! Its so moist and buttery. I loved every bite of it!

Gahriel Montague-Charles I have to say, this was the nicest taco Ive ever had! The bacon the cheese, the chicken, and the creamy avocado!!! They sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on top, and it makes it so good! I got the loaded quesadilla, and it was bomb diggity. The sauces are amazing. It was $11 and some change without a drink. Definitely worth the stop

S D I had a great experience at Hummus Republic. I was so excited to see that they had 4 different hammus to choose from, their food is delicious and full of flavor and their atmosphere is very welcoming. It was my first time there so I was unsure on what to get and how to but a bowl together. Suzie was very knowledgeable and attentive, with her help I was able to put a very taste bowl together. The portions are big. They have in door and outdoor seating.

Kris M. We were in the area early morning and was the first customers. The breakfast burritos with fresh carrot n orange juice hits the spot. I’d come back again to try the other items. The salsa and chips bar was good to see as those are rare these days.
