Monty Elistratov Definitely a great place to have food, everything we ordered tasted fresh and delicious, our waitress Sarah will go as the first waitress who was able to open my wine without breaking the cork, even when I know she is also the bartender its also impressive to have someone finally open an old bottle of wine and not breaking the cork. She was also very attentive and great. My friend and I felt welcome and definitely a place we can see ourselves coming back, my friend also was able to get her steak that wasnt on the menu anymore and cooked as she wanted, and my ribeye was also good and cooked exactly as I ordered it. Overall I recommend this place. 2 weeks later and same waitress/bartender Sarah and indeed, she is amazing,great customer service and definitely welcoming.

Paul Estuar We had a wonderful experience at Kateen from the moment we were greeted at the front. Our server was friendly and caring, and took the time to thoughtfully walk us through the menu as it was our first time. We had a reservation so there was no wait in being seated. We appreciated being asked whether we were celebrating a special occasion, to which we responded "yes, it was my birthday". There were plenty of thoughtful touches throughout, including the music, the lush tropical decor, and heaters and blankets because it was a chilly evening. My son looked at the photos and said it looked like Miami. My wife and I thought the place reminded us of Mexico City. The food was wonderfully vibrant and beautifully presented. Each dish tasted new to us, which is not something we often experience. The crab enchiladas were perfection. The vibe was so easygoing and friendly that we struck up conversations with the tables next to us, comparing our experiences, and considering what dishes we would order the next time we visit, which I expect will be very soon! Valet parking was $17 for about two hours, which is not unusual for this neighborhood.

The rebels sauce really good And a shout out to Candace that’s the name on the receipt Saturday morning at 11:30 She’s a sweetie and help me out with my order I wish I would’ve taken a picture of my burrito, but I ate too fast

Vladimir Frederic I went to eat at Horse in the Valley last night, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. I was seated by the bar and my bartender was attentive and very knowledgeable about the wine list, Cocktail and food. he recommended the lamb. The lamb was exceptional, perfectly cooked with a juicy skin, and the dessert was the perfect ending to my meal. Not s big place, you have to make a reservation. The ambiance was romantic and cozy, with dim lighting and soft jazz music. i will definitely be returning!" I didnt take some pictures, my phone had died. Loll.

Jamie Ginsberg The space is airy with lovely lines and clean energy, this could equally describe the food! The presentation is beautiful and if it wasn’t Olivia’s birthday, I’d have taken more photos. Instead, we shared delicious food and stories as we feasted before heading to the Paramount Theater to see John Mulaney (easy walk). The sides of rice are light and flavorful. The lavash disappeared immediately, we should have ordered double. I got all of the vegan dishes and enjoyed each one differently. The cashew sauce with the eggplant, yum. Cashew sauce is usually not my thing and I’d do it again. Right? There is a green chutney I’d like to keep in my life regularly. Why did we have to share???

Brittney Pan Very good burger and beef stew. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is spacious and it also has an outdoor sitting area. Good for family and friends gathering. Btw, the soda is very tasty. I love it.
