Yang 10/10 experience here at NEP Cafe! We got the Crème brûlée Vietnamese coffee (elite) and the egg coffee (also delicious)! James, our waiter, was incredibly kind and helpful in navigating the menu and we ended up getting 3 incredible apps. The seafood ceviche, shrimp salad, and crab toast. All 3 were phenomenal but the shrimp salad was truly special. I wouldn’t have gone for it if it weren’t for James’ suggestion, 10/10 would recommend! It’s so refreshing, light, and flavorful and pairs really well with the butteriness of the crab toast. We were celebrating my partners birthday as well and James took care of us well. Thank you NEP & James for a wonderful birthday experience!

You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The atmosphere feels like a small café somewhere in Provence: warm lighting, vintage touches, and soft background music. The staff was polite and attentive — helped me choose and served everything quickly. A great spot for those who appreciate not just food, but the mood as well. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a relaxed coffee with dessert.

James Gockelen First came here in 2018, and really wanted to come back with my wife. Such a great beach vibe, the atmosphere is chilled but with a buzz, just what you’d expect. Great drinks, we had the classic margarita and a couple of beers. We got a mix of tacos, with the birria beef being the stand out! You seated yourself, and service was efficient, but can’t say anything stood out from our server. The views from the terrace were great - really able to soak in the OB atmosphere, well worth a visit!

Jean Virtue St Felix hosted my 50th birthday in early November. Even though they were coming off a busy Halloween weekend, they delivered amazing attention to our event. Lauren and Jessica were amazing to our guests and were a pleasure to deal with. Dani and Johnny were on point with with all the pre planning details. I highly recommend having an event at this venue or even popping by for their happy hour. The atmosphere is fun, rock n roll, cool and not pretentious. They played my custom playlist (which I believe may be part of the regular rotation now). The night could not have gone better and I would book there again with no hesitation.

Mary Stanton Best breakfast in South Lake Tahoe! This is a must every time we visit! We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice, cafe de olla, and peppermint mocha. The Horchata French toast was fluffy and the perfect breakfast appetizer! The chiliquiles, asada and eggs, and the beans and rice with al pastor are top notch! We walked away feeling full and ready for a day on the mountain or casino floor! Kristen was fun and helpful!
