Richard Lamb I was staying at the Doubletree hotel and I wanted to get a bite to eat across. The street was Black Angus so I started to walk out the front and noticed everything to the right of the front desk. Decided to have something that Ive never done before and it was absolutely amazing. We were seated very quickly. We chose to go outside where there was fire or Romex and the waiter gave me a suggestion to try the salmon teriyaki bowl. It was absolutely delicious and not very expensive at all. Very highly recommended

Yummy Thai Restaurant - Goleta

Daniel Woodruff My girlfriend and I have eaten here for over a year and is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. They’re always consistent with the quality of food and great, quick service. We are thinking of visiting SB again and Yummy is one of our main motivators!

Sean Tompkins Good use of space and building atmosphere.  Greeted instantly and seated quickly.  Server was very warm and friendly, and tolerated our chatty tendency.  Wide menu selection, and, as advertised, 500+ whiskies to choose from.  I went with a flight so I could sample a few that Id not yet tried.  For me it happened to be a burger-kinda evening (bacon & jam!), and theirs didnt disappoint.  Caesar salad good, as was artichoke dip appetizer.  Very happy to stop in here for an evening.  Will revisit when again in town.

The Cruisery - Santa Barbara

Preeti Tata We hosted our wedding weekend welcome party with The Cruisery and had a fantastic experience. Communication was easy from the start, and the space felt spacious enough for our group of around 70 guests while still maintaining a fun, intimate atmosphere. There was plenty of room for conversation areas, a dance floor, and easy mingling. The bartenders were friendly, fast, and kept the energy high throughout the night. One of the best parts was how helpful Aaron, the manager, was during our last-minute venue scramble due to a severe rainstorm. He was incredibly accommodating and proactive, offering us their sister property — Unbearable Skee Lodge — at a very competitive rate given the short notice. That space is amazing in its own right: a stylish ski-chalet vibe without feeling kitschy, with comfy couch seating, high tops for easy conversation, and fun skee-ball arcade games that our guests loved. They also gave very thoughtful guidance on ordering, which helped us meet our food & beverage minimum without going under or significantly over — a rare and appreciated level of transparency. Being able to bring in our own friend to DJ was another huge plus. We highly recommend The Cruisery (and Unbearable Skee Lodge) for welcome parties, rehearsal events, or private group gatherings — especially if you want a flexible venue with great service and a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Anaheim Food Co - Anaheim

Kent McBride Food was very good and the price was good. Both the mixed chicken bowl and mixed pork shoulder were excellent. The chickpea and potato side was a bit too salty and I generally like salt. The chocolate cashew pudding was very good but too mall to order again. The atmosphere - there is none since it is a warehouse, but the outside made it worse due to trash and debris everywhere. I will definitely order again and now I know what to expect.

Las Islitas Grill - Salinas

Sara Hellstrom Hidden gem next to the Laurel Inn, were so glad we checked it out! Not sure what some of the older reviews were about, but we had excellent service - they were quick, kind, and anticipatory of our needs (to go boxes and check timing). The food exceeded expectations from the delicate broth and tender crab and fish in the 7 Mares soup to the deliciously garlicky camarones platillo and refreshing aquachile. Even the chips and salsa were yummy with assorted hot sauces at the table for more kick. We didnt stay for karaoke, but right around 7pm, the restaurant got a little pep in its step setting up for a musical Saturday night. Well definitely come back next time were in the area!
