Fitos Cafe - (Near Calexico, CA)

Anh La Went to soft opening, such good vibes but what you really want are the fish tacos,, ceviche and lumpia!! Everyone was so friendly and courteous. Left so full and extremely satisfied, can’t wait to come back. Want to next try the sandwiches and piping hot fish stew (looked like a gumbo cioppino hybrid) those looked incredibly good coming out of the kitchen!

Edna G Happened to see it while scrolling Yelp looking for something new to eat. This is located in the Ranch 99 market plaza in Fremont Blvd. They are new since September 2025. Nice modern decor and plenty of seats and possible a big group as well. My hubs and I were all greeted by their staff. Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped us to decide the best options on their menu and what to expect since its a new way of eating dry ramen called Mazeman. I tried the Cheese Mazeman and my hubs had their Deluxe Mazeman. The deluxe had everything but I like cheese. Haha We also had their Ikageso which is fried squid legs. Definitely, have their Asahi draft with your meal. ;) We actually tried something similar in San Mateo but it was ok. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality here as well as the food. Will definitely come back. I cant remember the young mans name but props to him how to eat their food. My first review of 2026!!

Jonathan Lee Oh G Burger is a cozy place tucked on A Street in Hayward. With a wide seating area and bright, red, white and blue walls, it brings a more retro atmosphere, helped by the selection of 80s, 90s and 00s music. Aesthetically, its somewhere between an old-school diner and a cafeteria, and I greatly appreciate that. During my visit, the owner made sure to meet my needs in a timely and respectful manner. Ice for my drink was available on request, as well as water (and water cups). I noted that the owner was also very close with his regulars, but also willing to give a customer space if he felt that they wanted to be alone. It seems that management is in good hands. On this first visit, I ordered the Hayward Burger combo. To be honest, I didnt take a closer look at the menu and just picked on the spot - almost none of the ingredients in the burger itself were anything I would have normally had. Based on its individual ingredients, I should have hated what I ordered... but I didnt! The combination of flavors made what would have been an unpleasant experience in lesser hands, a pleasantly surprising one. Even if I dont know whether or not I will order another Hayward Burger, its certainly changed my opinion on bell peppers for the future. For that, I have to give a 5 star rating for the food - at any other place, I think I would have hated it. Ill definitely be coming back in the future!

Jonathan Itow The pastrami was killer! Just the right blend of mustard and meat piled super high! Absolutely worth the drive! Got to get it. On top of that the people are amazing! Super friendly and certainly on point!

Arian Bn I recently visited The Melt in Davis with high expectations, and they definitely delivered. The place was clean, the décor looked great, and I really liked ordering through the self-service machines because it let me take my time and see all the photos. There was also a young gentleman working there who stood out immediately. I’m not sure if he was the manager or just a great employee, but he constantly checked on customers, cleaned tables, and made sure everyone was happy with their food. His attitude really made the experience better. Our food came out fast, the drinks were good, and the burgers we ordered were honestly delicious. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and overall it was just a really enjoyable meal. If there’s one thing I wish they would add, it’s more cheese options. With a name like “The Melt,” I was expecting extra cheesy items or at least an option to load up on high-quality cheese. That would make the place even more amazing. Other than that, I loved my experience here. Great food, great staff, and great atmosphere. Definitely a 10/10 and I highly recommend it.
