Smokeyard BBQ and Chop Shop - Mammoth Lakes

Rating: 3.8 /5
Leh Madeline (Maddie) Had the most incredible beyond burger here post-backpacking trip!! It had fried onions and mushrooms on it, and the fries were perfection. Would highly recommend for a meal after a big adventure! And loved the outdoor seating options, too.

Salutis - Jackson

Frank Orozco Lasagna was good, garlic bread looked good, had the steak and shrimp kabobs was good. Also also liked the side salad. Only thing bas loaded baked soup could have more ingredients. Spumoni ice cream was good.

Zhan Kangna (Corner) The food portion is great and so is the taste. We got Ruben and Prime Rib, it’s so tender for the rib and well seasoned. The butter grilled bread of Ruben is 10/10 crunchy and tasty. Highly recommend mushrooms for sides, juicy savory and tender. (The vegetables just like Costco frozen vegetables “nah”) The vibe of the bar is nice, chilling and no pushing sell for anything. Dining in here just like go to the same old place you like to have your comfort food even it’s my first time here.

The Cutting Board Restaurant & Bar - San Bernardino

Richard Lamb I was staying at the Doubletree hotel and I wanted to get a bite to eat across. The street was Black Angus so I started to walk out the front and noticed everything to the right of the front desk. Decided to have something that Ive never done before and it was absolutely amazing. We were seated very quickly. We chose to go outside where there was fire or Romex and the waiter gave me a suggestion to try the salmon teriyaki bowl. It was absolutely delicious and not very expensive at all. Very highly recommended

Cellar Door - Visalia

Alonzo Chavez Ulises connects with everybody on a personal level. Whether it be your first time meeting him, he treats you like a good friend. The Cellar Door’s atmosphere has risen since he’s been a part of the staff team. Plus him being the bartender there >>

Mesa Maguey - Oakland

Rating: 4.8 /5
David Smith Exceptional experience at Mesa Maguey. The chips and salsa for a few choices were solid, personally not my style of salsa but still enjoyable. The salsa verde in the top right felt the most mild, the salsa rojo left was slight more heat, and the verde on the bottom I think would be the highest. I could be wrong on those, none of them were really “hot” but felt mild to moderate for the average person. If you’re someone who hates heat, this is very different than the standard expected chunky non-spicy salsa and I would probably stay away. The tacos, especially being 2 for $9 during the happy hour are exceptional, so far being the best tacos I’ve had in Oakland. The corn and flour shell mix is strong and holds up beautifully with great texture, flavor and bite. This is a great solution to the issue of having to double up on store bought corn tacos due to them tearing I see a lot of restaurants use. I tried the Barbacoa, Asada, and Carnitas tacos of the three I would rank them from best to great Barbacoa, Asada, and Carnitas. All of them were great and honestly the Barbacoa and Asada could be tied for best. I would recommend 2-3 tacos for the average person, 2 is good, 3 (if they allow it) would be great. I eat a lot and was very hungry so I went with 4 and stuffed myself and do not regret it. The vibe is fun and relaxing, I will absolutely be back for more tacos and to likely try a drink next time. This is a must stop for tacos in Oakland
