Bishoy Tawfik I heard a lot about Papa K’s, but I wasn’t expecting that he truly brought the taste of Egypt to OC. As an Egyptian and a seafood lover, this is one of the best seafood dishes I have ever had. Please keep up the great work and the amazing food quality!

Andrea Garcia Reservations were made for my sister 30th birthday party. A little hiccup when I got there but nothing that they didn’t turn around for my family and I. Michelle greeted us and was also our waitress. Her presence and customer service made the evening it’s like she was apart of our family! So sweet and she was so attentive it’s almost like we had rented out the restaurant perfect time to come for a Monday! Finding out that happy hour was until 6p was also a treat ! Everything she recommended we ended up trying from appetizers, drinks and the entrees. The chef Aaron was excellent !! The food was fresh hot and delicious! Juiciest chicken and the mango habanero sauce was so good. The rolls were so good and I highly recommend even the fried Riverside Roll and the Ay mi papa roll! The Mexican Korean fusion right there was a treat! Drinks were so good and they don’t skimp on liquor! The spicy Paloma and the soju were really good! Manager came over and even brought us birthday shots for the inconvenience from earlier and it definitely made an impression he even stopped by and asked if we were good! Service was fast, attentive, friendly and helpful. The decor in the establishment was picture worthy! Michelle went above and beyond!! Will definitely be returning !! The shrimp and chicken hibachi combo with the fried rice was 10/10! Very pleased with the turnaround and service!! Thank you for making my sisters 30th special

Kelcie Jones I stopped by during my lunch break and am so pleased. I tried the loaded tater. The potato was perfectly cooked, a generous heaping of chopped brisket, cheese, and sour cream (I opted out of chili). Also the barbecue sauces they gave me were delicious. Then washed it down with a crisp cold cream soda. Definitely will stop by again soon.

Lisa Stone We had such a wonderful dinner here the other night and enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The outside patio was really nice. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Citrus Habanero Organic Chicken. It was flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The veggies were also excellent, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We also tried the ribeye which was sooo good and the cheesy garlic bread. We decided to try the mac and cheese, but it turned out to be a bit too oily for our taste, so we’ll probably skip that one next time. That said, everything else we ordered was absolutely fantastic, and we left feeling very satisfied. Overall, it was a great evening with delicious food, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again soon.

Maribel Hernandez The Empanada Spot is one of my favs! These empanadas, crafted in the style of the owner’s family recipes from Mexico, are simply delicious and bursting with flavor. Each empanada is perfectly filled, so they’re never skimpy, and if you want to add a bit of heat, their salsas are the perfect complement. The owner is super nice and friendly, and the staff makes you feel right at home. We stopped by as a group and after trying one, we knew we had to take some to go and share the goodness.

Brandi Gonzales I have to give it to these guys, you can tell this is a fantastically run restaurant. We go to this location once every six weeks after Kaiser visits and it is consistent in every way. Great food, fantastic service, quick to be seated and get food. Manager with the grey/white hair and glasses is always greeting customers/opening door, talking to employees...you can tell he takes his job seriously and it is really refreshing to see that. Wait staff and hostess equally engaging and nice. Also the food is always fresh and super tasty. If you havent tried the charra beans dont sleep on them....surprisingly authentic for a Mexican chain restaurant. Probably my best chain restaurant experience.....ever. Keep up the good work guys!
