Gusto Italiano - (Near Modesto, CA)

Monica Ifland First time visit as we were actually headed for a nearby establishment. We walked by and saw the menu out front, the cheery interior and decided to give it a try. We lucked out on a weekend (arrived early) and were seated without a wait. The staff was warm and welcoming. Food came fast. The variety on the menu was impressive and I loved the Thai additions. Other than my Thai sausage being a bit gristly, everything was great. The flavor of the sausage added a nice variation on the regular breakfast fare found elsewhere. The lattes were adorable and post worthy in themselves. Agree with other reviewers that the ube latte is beyond cute, if sweet drinks are not for you, opt for a regular or matcha latte. The proprietor (or Management?)came to our table to check in which is always a nice touch. We are really happy with this serendipitous stop for breakfast. Don’t think twice about it, just go.

Mariana Vega The picture makes no justice to the food. I love it here!! Been here a couple of times and loved everything I’ve tried. The drinks are pretty good and the chips/totopos are freshly made. The sides are so good!! Is rare to see rajas as a side (besides beans and red rice). They were super nice to my service dogs and brought him treats. 5/5 stars 5/5 paws

C M I went here for brunch. Ive been here a bunch of times but usually at night. Usually its nothing to write home about. But this time, Megan was super helpful and checked on us multiple times. Food was better than good, not great. But she gave witty convo and felt like a friend adding some fun to the day during my brunch.

Bobbin Tobin Wow. What a revival. Rosso is back and better than ever. The margarita pizza finally has enough basil to make it memorable. The chicken in Cindy’s pollo salad never was as tender or tasted so good. All else seemed as good as it was, if not better. They even added a great dessert—zeppoli.

Sana Sultani Levant Mediterranean Restaurant hands down one of the best spots I’ve ever been to in LA. The food was unreal, the service was beyond amazing, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this place left me speechless. They literally offered food for free just to make sure we had the best experience. That kind of hospitality is rare. I’ve been to Turkey multiple times, and this place gave me that same authentic, fresh, flavorful vibe maybe even better. You can taste the love in every single dish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so kindly, seated quickly, and taken care of the entire time. The meats were juicy and perfectly seasoned, the rice was soft and full of flavor, and the sides? Absolutely insane. The hummus was probably the smoothest I’ve ever had. Every plate came out looking like a piece of art — but it wasn’t just for show. It tasted even better than it looked. And let’s talk customer service they genuinely care. Not just fake smiles and basic stuff. They made sure we were full, happy, and even brought us extra dishes just to try. Who does that? That’s love. That’s passion. That’s the kind of energy that makes a place unforgettable. The vibe inside is cozy but still elevated. Clean, calm, and really aesthetic without trying too hard. Whether you’re pulling up with family or on a cute dinner date, this spot hits every time. More people need to know about Levant. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
