5 /5 Table4_2Chicago: This is a greedy spoon worth a visit. Located in a small building this burger joint makes great tasting burgers. One of their signature burger is a Willy Burger. Willy must be a 2 lb 10” round monstrosity and great tasting burger. In addition to the Willy, we also got hazel burger and bacon cheeseburger deluxe. The burgers here are amazing. The service was great and our server took great care of us. They do have some parking available around the building.

1 /5 Trisha M: Apparantly they dont want business we have called 2x the last few nights to make an order at 15-20 min before closing time and they will not answer. According to Google they are open until 7pm so I called both days at 6:45 and finally a lady answered Very rudely and said they close at 6:30 and proceeded to be very rude and hang up. Update your hours or dont be too good to take a simple order at the end of the day! Will not be returning for the lack of respect for customers that have been frequenting this establish for over 50 yrs. BYE!!!!

She didnt have a lick of personality and basically grunted through the ordering process. That sucked all of the energy out of wanting to be there and made it much less enjoyable to be there. After reading all of the reviews and getting positive feedback from coworkers... I was ready to get down with the burger frenzy. I ordered three burgers, and two of the burgers were special request burgers from my coworkers. All three burgers were cheeseburgers. My cheeseburger, I added an egg. I found out they do not offer avocado, which left me slightly disappointed. I asked for extra raw onion, and after unwrapping my burger, I found that they serve diced onions and not whole cut slices. The burger was not impressive, and maybe thats because Ive been to so many different burger spots, and the fact that where I live, in the Inland Empire, independent burger joints are all over the place. A good example is Burger Point in San Bernardino on Mill Street. It is one of many independent places that make some damn good burgers and better tasting to me. Now, this is just a comparative opinion and not a pot shot to Hazels. When I am visiting Antioch, I dont eat at too many places and usually just visit the local In N Out. I gave Hazels a try and wasnt impressed with the service or food, but I will come back and try the Wiley Burger I have read so much about. Maybe that will be the impressive burger. We shall see when I make the second visit. I realize this is long-winded and probably had more dialog than I needed to make a point. However, I gave four stars, and thats not bad. Hazels could probably use an actual HVAC system instead of those wall mounted fans that can collect dust on the blades. It wasnt comfortable in the dining room at all but I am normally warm and thats my problem. I hope anyone reading this realizes that this is a good burger spot, and they can see it is highly recommended and a town favorite. I just happened to be that guy who isnt raving or excited about the place. If that lady behind the counter had a welcoming personality and smiled, maybe the burger would have tasted better.

1 /5 Alex: In the beginning the food like the burgers were hot and fresh. Now if they say it’ll be ready in 10 minutes and I’m there in 6 minutes. The hamburger patty is cold. I called for the first time and spoke to the young lady about my concerns and she tells me; why do I keep coming back your going to keep complaining. I said excuse me; this is my first time calling and letting anyone know anything. She said, no it’s not. That I complained many times before. I’m not even from here and I have eaten there about 7 times in the two months I’ve been here. The fact that she argued with me, she wasn’t concerned about my needs and concerns as a customer, and obviously thinks all African Americans look a like has definitely taken taken the cake. I will not be telling any of my coworkers in the refineries about this place as I did in the beginning and I promise that now after this. I will not be telling longer be returning to this establishment even again. She acted unprofessional and she did not even apologize. To add the coworkers that I sent recently have said that the Philly Cheese steak doesn’t have enough meat and it’s to much bread to have this little mean and no one wants to go back but me; until this situation on today. I guess when you don’t go to college or possibly don’t finish high school this is the work ethic that you receive. Even if I had complained before which I hadn’t, i would not come back for a while and maybe if i decided to comeback it would be to see if y’all would serve me a hot cheese burger like the first time I had it.

5 /5 N Z: They brought my food to my car. Well made. Amazing customer service. Great prices. We will be back again. Had cheeseburger and fries with a stary. The nice thing is it taste like they clean their grease traps and you can taste the quality in every bite. Support this local business!
