La Cheve Bakery and Brews - Napa

Rating: 4.6 /5
Genevieve Smith Such a great place to go for brunch! I loved the look inside, it was so pretty and homey feeling. I went on a Thursday morning and had absolutely no wait. The food is amazing, I highly recommend the concha French toast. Its not too expensive either, prices were pretty on par for Napa but I was able to have a brunch for one under $25 which was surprising. Service is spectacular as well. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable. They were so quick as well, my coffee and food came in under ten minutes (it wasnt super busy so Im sure that helped). Overall great experience, highly recommend this place!

Imperial Hotel & Restaurant - Amador City

Rating: 4.6 /5
Trudy Egan We stayed at the dog friendly cottages owned by the Imperial Hotel. They deserve 6 stars out of 5 for hospitality. The manager, Alyssa, was great about returning phone calls and sent emails when we had trouble connecting before our arrival. There was no one in the biggest cottage so she upgraded us without cost. The location is near Knight foundry, which is why we wanted to visit the area. We visited the main hotel for a peek around. The restaurant and bar were closed for a January break. The building itself was a historic brick building with 2 floors. The accommodation was fabulous. Comfy king bed, good in room coffee with actual cream in the little cups, a huge jacuzzi tub for 2 (See 70 lb dog for scale) and a little gas fireplace for a heater. There was a living room area with a couch and coffee table, and house plants in every room. The entryway offered a stand with umbrellas to borrow in case of rain. There is a grassy yard with a low fence so your pup can romp as long as it isnt a jumper, and they provided a dog bed suitable for a small to medium dog. There was a dog bowl, which was great because I forgot to bring one, and a jar with a dog cookie in it. Alyssa left a welcome note for us in the room, and a few nice perks as well. In short, thoughtful details everywhere.

Gabriella Café - Santa Cruz

Rating: 4.4 /5
G E Gabriella is a cozy, cute cafe with excellent food. Our lunch was delicious and generous. Service was a little mixed. I would have liked the bacon and roasted potatoes that could have come with my bun-free burger, but whether that was confusion on my part or our servers, I cant be completely sure.

Okawa - Antioch

Rating: 4.5 /5
Kristin Bolen Okawa has been a favorite of ours for decades and it never disappoints. The sushi is excellent, fresh, beautifully crafted, and consistently delicious. The servers are always friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. It is rare to find a restaurant that maintains such high quality and service over so many years, but Okawa continues to set the standard. A true local gem.

Debra Knowles-Hill We had a wonderful brunch with great food and excellent service. Manny was attentive to our orders and even brought out a Free Ice Cream Sundae for my brothers Birthday celebration. Great experience!

AJs Sandwiches - Yuba City

Rating: 4.5 /5
Shadd Empire Food is exceptional and their fries are the best Ive ever had anywhere! Love the outdoor seating area with the chalkboard wall that has bible quotes written on it. Very cute place! Only thing I didnt care for was that I didnt see combo prices and had to order things separately which made it kinda pricey. 3 sandwiches, 3 fries and 1 softdrink was $64.
