Hooligans Bar and Bistro - (Near Yuba City, CA)

Harry Maneuvers Ordered a ceasar salad, Greek salad, lamb lollipops and veggie bowl for pickup to share with one other person back at the hotel I was staying at. Pulling up to the restaurant I was a bit skeptical about the lowkey pub/bar vibe but upon getting back to the hotel; was absolutely blown away at the quality, to-go plating/presentation and above all: flavor. ESPECIALLY when considering the prices they charge. Lamb and veggies were cooked PERFECTLY, the portions were generous with the quality of all ingredients being WAY above expectations. Would have easily paid double all things considered. Had it been delivered instead of picked up, I would have thought the restaurant was valet only with a strictly enforced dress code… the food was that good.

Liann Amagan One of the original breakfast places in downtown Vallejo with home style cooked breakfast dishes and coffee mugs with the best sayings on it. Service is nice and quick and the best place for breakfast and brunch when if you’re in the area. Their cornbread is really good too! This particular time I went for a quick brunch with my boss and he got an omelette and I got apple sausage with bacon fried rice and 2 eggs over hard with a side of cornbread. Parking is fairly easy, there’s street parking and a paid parking lot behind it.

Amy Gu We ordered chicken wings, two different noodle dishes and mango sticky rice as dessert. Everything tasted delicious and in generous portions. Service was friendly and tentative. Very good restaurant in Palm Springs downtown!

Greg Roderick They might have had a higher rating, but they were out of a fair amount of the items they BBQ. However, what they had was pretty darn good.

jim hite Walked in to casually get take out. A friend asked me to pick up a soft pretzel to satisfy her whim. For a nonchalant errand where I expected brevity and efficiency, I was treated like a celebrity, given a comfortable seat and a glass of still water, all for a simple order. My friend described her soft pretzel as "probably the finest pretzel experience of her life." Good people attract good people. The next time Im in the area and hungry, Ill be back to the Monks Kettle in Terra Linda to dive deeper into their cuisine, beer and experience. Oh Yeah!
