My favorite locals sports bar with disco lit up dance floor, themed music and costume nights, and great people watching out on the upstairs balcony. Great patio for sunset views! Full bar, wine list, bottles and tap beer, and happy hour specials! Trivia, dance nights, holiday parties, and great for gross or bachelorette/ bachelor parties.

5 /5 Joe Knight: Such a cool place. Love the vibes and atmosphere. I had the salmon and it was flavorful and great. My wife had the poke bowl and wasn’t a huge fan of it, but that’s only a matter of her personal palette, which is why I still gave five stars. Our server Angie was super cool too. We’ll definitely be by again on our future HB stays.

5 /5 Jesse Brown: Today, my family and I chose to eat at Hurricanes Bar and Grill on Main Street in Huntington Beach. This was an excellent choice. Upon arrival, the restaurant was buzzing with people and quite busy. We were cheerfully greeted by our server Haley, who promised to be right with us shortly. She kept her word too. Although Haley was the only host working at the time, she gracefully did an outstanding job holding down the entire fort by herself. She took our order within minutes while juggling orders and requests from all the other patrons. It was quite amazing to watch. She efficiently managed to give each party their equal time, and respectfully ensured that we all had what we needed to thoroughly enjoy our experience. She was knowledgeable and courteous too, which was an added bonus. We were elated that she was our server! Kudos to you Haley! You Rock! I would be remissed if I did not mention how delicious the food tasted. My wife had the Cali Tuna Melt sandwich which was prepared perfectly. My daughter had the succulent Chicken Bites and Crispy Garlic Fries which she loved. FYI, my daughter is a picky eater, but while eating, she asked us to make sure to bring her back to eat at Hurricanes again before she even finished her meal. When my wife and I heard this, we knew she was pleased with her meal. Lastly, I had the hearty Jumbo Wings and two tacos; one Barbacoa Taco and one Carne Asada Taco to celebrate Taco Tuesday! Everything we ordered was scrumptious! We were very pleased and want to Shout Out Hurricanes, Haley, and her helpers for doing a wonderful job! Keep up the Excellent Work!

5 /5 LordJohnWellesley the Soldier: I visited this place on Oct 4, 2025. It was my first time going to a bar, so I wasn’t unsure how would I blend in. Fortunately, the staff were very friendly and showed me in. I went to the bar where I sit down in one of the seats, maybe 3-5 ft from the door. I only ordered an ice cold sprite since it was around 3.19, and I can’t drink alcohol, so not a bad order. I didnt speak up before and was using notes to message because of the blasting music. I was even a bit nervous at first when I was there, but the female bartender was really nice to me and acknowledged me, even when I was quiet. I was willing to pay for the sprite drink, but was given the okay. I even made sure. I assume it would be a one-time thing because I was new to them at their establishment. Hurricanes Bar & Grill would be a good place to socialize every Saturday. I look forward to visiting the place in the future. Thank you. P.S. I will give their food a chance one day.
