Olive Garden Italian Restaurant - Tracy

Rating: 4.2 /5
rashelle seeger I went here with my son a few weeks ago. Returned for my birthday with family that came from out of town. Ordered the exact same dish, Braised beef rigatoni. Still very flavorful, but the sauce was minimal the 2nd round and the pasta was dry. I had to ask for extra sauce. The server was attentive, but forgot things we asked for multiple times when she came back to check on us. It was busy that night so we didnt get too bothered. I was celebrating and enjoying company of family I hadnt seen in a while. Olive Garden is always a vibe to me with the low buzz and good cocktails. There are very few actual restaurants in my city and the food and service are consistently good here. I will try to frequent this place more.

Sampa Brazilian Kitchen - Santa Cruz

Rating: 4.8 /5
Benjamin Ow My son had heard good things about Sampa from a friend and asked to try it. We visited Sampa last weekend with a 5 person family and the experience far surpassed our expectations. The service was warm and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and a great value when considering the generous portion size, quality ingredients, and amazing flavors. The Fejoada was super flavorful and the sides of white rice, collard greens, orange, and farofa complimented and enhanced the Fejoada. The Picanha steak was juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor; a must try dish. The cheeseburgers with added crispy bacon and extra crispy fries were a hit with our 10 year old diners. The chicken Caesar salad was tasty too. The food was nourishing and filling; next time we want to try some of smoothies and/or good looking desserts. We look forward to eating at Samoa again soon!

Nick The Greek - Modesto

Rating: 4.7 /5
Elle C Wow, if youre looking for a truly outstanding Greek food experience in Modesto, you absolutely have to check out Nick the Greek! This place is an absolute gem and deserves all the praise. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive energy. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take real pride in serving up delicious, authentic food. The whole vibe is just fantastic—its fast-casual done right, with a focus on quality and flavor that you can taste in every single bite. Lets talk about the food, because thats where Nick the Greek really shines. The gyros are out of this world! The meat is seasoned perfectly, cooked on that traditional vertical rotisserie, and served in a warm pita thats a work of art in itself. And dont even get me started on the Gyro Bowl—its a flavor explosion in a bowl, perfect for a hearty and satisfying meal. The ingredients are always so fresh, from the crisp vegetables to the zesty sauces. I highly recommend adding some hummus and olives to your order; they are truly delicious. They dont just stop at amazing gyros and bowls, either. The menu is full of incredible options. The Souvlaki skewers are charbroiled to perfection, and their Greek fries are a must-try. Plus, you have to save room for dessert! The Baklava is a flaky, sweet, and nutty dream, and their Greek frozen yogurt is the perfect way to finish off a perfect meal. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your moneys worth, and the service is incredibly fast. Whether youre dining in or ordering for delivery, the quality is consistently top-notch. Honestly, Nick the Greek is more than just a restaurant; its a culinary experience that will leave you smiling and planning your next visit before youve even finished your meal. Its a new favorite in Modesto, and I couldnt recommend it more highly!

Ginger Noodle Bar - Alpine

Rating: 3.8 /5
A.A This location is inside the casino. The front desk employee was very friendly, greeting us & taking out orders. The orders here are done first. You pay and then self seat. They then bring the food to your table. Keep in mind it is not a table service restaurants there are no servers. We needed a few things like extra limes & to go boxes, we were willing to get ourselves no problem, but the employees on the floor made it feel like they absolutely did not want to help us. It was kinda awkward. Now about the food, it was very tasty big portions. The rice I didnt enjoy it was dry & stale. I had the lumpia for a started & a kung pao chicken type of dish. & mango pudding for the dessert. Keep in mind you orders first, then the comes all together start entree & dessert. To drink, I just had the free water at the casino. Nothing grabbed my attention on the menu. I really liked the inside & decor it was very modern, nice, warm lighting.

Orchestria Palm Court Restaurant - San Jose

Rating: 4.6 /5
Jay S. I had the most wonderful dinner at Orchestria Palm Court last night! This place is a true gem. The first thing you notice is the ambiance. Its filled with fascinating, eclectic vintage decorations that create a truly unique and special feeling. I loved exploring all the details, from the vintage player pianos to the special lighting. You can tell the owners poured so much hard work and love into creating such a welcoming space. The owners and staff were just as fantastic. They were incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely happy to answer all of our questions about the restaurants many interesting pieces. Their passion for the space really added to the experience. And the food was absolutely delicious! We really appreciated every course. The warm bread was a perfect start, the French onion soup was rich and flavorful, and the chicken saltimbocca was fantastic. I will definitely be back. There were so many other items on the menu that I was tempted to order, so Im already looking forward to my next visit to try them. Highly recommended!
