Ryans Reviews The family and I came here at a really off time where it was completely empty. The waiter made sure we got a good seat overlooking the water and made us feel really comfortable. The waiter answered all questions and help us select some really good food. We all really enjoyed ourselves and thought the food was amazing. Highly recommended.

Sheeva Shahinfar Wow wow wow. THIS place deserves all the attention & praise! I would dare to say it’s in the top 10 restaurants I’ve been to. From the moment we walked in, we loved the vibe, so cozy, warm, and family style. They have a wood fired oven where you can watch them make the pizzas. Service was outstanding, we were always attended to. I LOVE that they locally source all of their foods, everything was so delicious and fresh and someone even noted how happy he was that he ate so much food but didn’t feel bloated or gross. They also have a seasonal menu which is so fun! Our favorite dish was the yams with pistachios and favorite pizza was the spicy salami. The fig salad was amazing as well. We also got the cauliflower, prosciutto pizza, mushroom pizza, sage pasta, and radicchio salad. Dessert was the apple cake with caramel ice cream. Highly recommend and counting down the days until I can go back here!

Hogs Breath Inn - Carmel-By-The-Sea

Lucy Hog’s was highly recommended to us. The outdoor patio is beautiful with both regular tables and high tops, and the big tree in the center reminded me of a restaurant I once visited in Mexico. It was a quiet Thursday night, and we chose a spot near a heat lamp since it was a bit chilly. It took the staff a little while to figure out who would be taking our order, and they ended up mixing up my friend’s dish without following up. I ordered the Mediterranean salad, which was good. The fresh sourdough bread was excellent, and they offer a variety of flavors. There appears to be an indoor dining room and a separate bar as well. The Clint Eastwood movie posters are displayed since the restaurant used to belong to him before he sold it.

Mark It is priced like eating out at a Chipotles. For 2 people, are food and drinks with tax came to $41. There was a good quantity of food to fill your up. The majority of the salsa saucus are way to hot for my typical American taste buds. So that left the food tasting okay but not great. The building is a old Carls Junior Restaurant. We were the only customers for dinner on a Friday evening at 6:30 PM. I believe that is do to the interior still be a fast food look with the prices of causal dinning. The owners seriously need to look at the interiors of Coconut Joes and Joes Crab Shack. Interiors dont have to me expensive. But restaurants need a theme and decorations to create a Friday and Saturday Night dinner clientele.

Vanda Borba My husband ordered the vegetarian Smoked Mushroom & Artichoke Pizza—delicious flavor, but he thought it was a bit too spicy, which overpowered the other tastes. Still, a solid 4/5. I went for the Crispy Cauliflower, one of the few vegan options on the menu. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I loved every bite—pure perfection in cauliflower form. It’d be great if the menu had more creative vegan dishes like this one. Honestly, I’d come back just for the cauliflower! The ambiance is gorgeous, by the way—such a lovely place. You can really tell vegan options aren’t a priority here. When I arrived, I asked the host about vegan choices, and she seemed confused—like she could barely remember any. It was so off-putting I almost walked out. For a place with such great ambiance, it’s disappointing how little thought goes into catering to plant-based.

Thamires Regis Amazing food, authentic Mexican cuisine, so full of flavors. We tried the Shrimp plater and the Sopes and we highly recommend. The drinks were also great, specifically the Mexican Mule. But the best thing about this place is the service, all workers are friendly and helped us to learn more about the menu. A special shout out to Angelica for her wonderful service today.
