Cade Brock We came in for dinner and loved it so much we came right back the next morning for breakfast. The food was fantastic and the service and staff were somehow even better. It feels like a family in here. Had the chicken kebab plate and Mediterranean salad for dinner. Then a sweet crepe and chicken fried steak for dinner. Everything was amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the value and portion sizes.

CMF Costa Azul restaurant is the place to get some great food and wonderful atmosphere, The music was very loud though, could not hear a conversation at the table, though we went during music band. The food was great the people were very friendly.

Six Rivers Brewery - McKinleyville

Lindsay Adams Great food and service. Very casual atmosphere. There is a sign at the entrances that explains very clearly how seating and ordering works, which was super helpful as we’ve been other places that don’t state so and you’re left looking around like an idiot. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our family of 4 had no problem ordering from the menu with a variety of plates for each palate. Highly recommend if you’re in Mckinleyville.

Nixtaco - Roseville

Sarah S I’m rarely in Roseville, so the first chance I had, I decided to grab tacos at Nixtaco. I totally understand the hype and Michelin recognition. They have a really diverse taco menu. Personally I love all sorts of savory, meaty tacos, but I love to be wowed by flavorful vegetarian options. I went with a combination taco so I could try a bit of the raja con queso as well as their shrimp mazatian. I had the short rib barbacoa and pork al pastor tacos as well. I think my favorite was the al pastor as it was perfect as is. I didn’t add any salsa for heat or flavor - although the flight of salsa and chips was delicious on its own. The service deserves a standalone paragraph. I didn’t catch the hostess’s name but she greeted me quickly and told me about the happy hour specials as I was there at 3:30 on a Wednesday. My server’s name was Christina and she had great recommendations. She checked in moments after each item arrived. The food came out incredibly quickly while looking fresh and tasting great. Thanks for the late lunch!

Tom Lang We stopped for brunch on a busy Sunday. The place was bustling but the service was prompt and friendly. My wife ordered a screwdriver and I had a Bloody Mary. It was nicely garnished with pickle, olive, cocktail onion, hot pepper, and a strip of crispy bacon. Very nice. I had a Big Wet Breakfast Burrito. It was a good sized burrito with chorizo covered with a tangy red sauce. Great. My wife had Huevos Mexicanos. She thought it spent too much time under the broiler, but it was OK. Overall a good experience.
