I had the pleasure of trying the burgers at Islands Restaurant in Otay Mesa, and let me tell you—they do not disappoint. From the first bite, it was clear these burgers were made with care. The patties were juicy and full of flavor, perfectly grilled and topped with fresh, quality ingredients. The buns were soft but held together just right, and the toppings—crispy lettuce, ripe tomato, melted cheese, and that signature sauce—pulled everything together like magic.
I went with the classic burger this time, but the menu had some bold options I’m definitely coming back for. The fries were golden, crispy, and generously portioned—great for sharing (if you’re feeling generous). The vibe of the place was laid-back and clean, with friendly service that made the whole experience even better.
If you’re craving a solid, satisfying burger in the South Bay, Islands in Otay Mesa is where it’s at. I’ll be back for sure!
