5 /5 Sterling Armstrong-Cate: Fantastic quality for a fairly reasonable price compared to other steakhouses. The sushi here is top notch and tastes almost as fresh as it does near the Wharf in San Francisco. The Lobster King Roll is an incredible value if youre looking for something that tastes luxurious with a fairly big portion without breaking the bank. The Japanese style popcorn chicken is also quite an addictive appetizer. The shrimp fried rice is also great to share with big, juicy shrimp and crisp flavorful veggies. I did a pickup order from this restaurant, but I will say the decor seemed pretty upscale. Its probably the fanciest place Ive seen since the original run of The Willow Steakhouse in Jamestown. Ill definitely be coming back here anytime I want to impress someone.

5 /5 CC: Finally, a restaurant in Sonora that I will crave! I love Japanese steak houses, and this one upheld my desire. I wish they had the grills that you sit around and watch the chef, but the food taste and quality were still spot on to what I was salivating for. I was very happy with the delicious salad dressing and fresh greens. I was also very pleased with the attentive, nice, and patient staff. I am excited to have a favorite restaurant in Sonora now and support a respectable owner.

5 /5 Michael Booth: Stopped for a light dinner. Friday night was busy. I had the Lobster King Roll and it was excellent. Had the miso soup on the side and it was very good. No Tappan available.

4 /5 Athena Ducker: They were great before, now theyve changed their fried calamari - when I immediately mentioned it to the waiter, he agreed that he didnt care for it either....didnt offer to take it away or off the bill. Sushi was good, best in Sonora. ,g

4 /5 Lizzy Carter: Food is always delicious . Kobe never disappoints! Staff is always super friendly and the other servers always check on you when your eating. The restaurant is decorated with some Japanese paintings and red lanterns. I am a sucker for edemame so thats a must. I am also a fan of their king kong roll. Today I got the trio - chicken, shrimp & steak. The steak was cooked to perfection. And the dinner plate was much too large for me to finish. My grandma got the filet mignon and lobster. She said it eas delicious and presentation was amazing. We had 2 bento boxes at the table both enjoyed. We love this restaurant the food is always great and the staff is always smiling
