Unwined Kitchen & Bar - (Near Chico, CA)

3 /5 Kristin Drake: I have eaten here several times before and I’ve always had good food. I brought a group of friends there for dinner last Saturday night to celebrate my birthday and I was expecting good food. Everyone else’s meals were great. One of my friends and I each ordered fish and chips. It was the worst fish and chips either of us had ever eaten. It was chewy and hard. It seemed like the batter was burnt, which made the fish inside really overcooked. I couldn’t eat it. I even tried to scrape the fish out, but it was so overcooked that it wasn’t scraping off of the batter. It was disappointing because it’s expensive to eat out these days and this was for a special occasion. Perhaps we should’ve said something then and there, but we had an event to get to and we were sort of in a rush. At least the fries and my apple cider-tinis were good, and our server was very friendly and attentive.

5 /5 Brianna C: Perfect atmosphere during dinner. Food was amazing and the waitress was very attentive. Can’t remember her name but she made our experience pleasant. Will definitely come back again, hoping to enjoy their outdoor seating during warmer weather!

5 /5 Maura Bloodgood: Brought my girlfriend here to celebrate her birthday and it was fabulous! Our waiter was the best and the food was perfect! We both had eggs Benedict, hers with spinach and mine with crab and the eggs were cooked perfectly! She had a Bloody Mary because I was driving and was thrilled with the Bloody Mary bar with all kinds of fixings.

5 /5 Rachel Holman: Came here with a group of 7 and our server David was wonderful - super friendly, gave great suggestions, and kept the champagne flowing! Food was delicious. I had a loaded potato appetizer and the veg out pizza, and left waddling. Maybe not the atmosphere for a quick in-out bite, but for sure the place to enjoy a meal and conversation. Really appreciated not feeling rushed to clear the table.

5 /5 Craig Bourne: We’ve been to Unwined before and always liked it, but we went recently and had such a great experience that I had to leave a review. Specifically, we had a Caesar salad that we were so excited about! It was a real, classic, anchovy-y salad that was as good as I’ve had in forever. Everything we had was very good, but that salad was something special. It was a great example of the attention to detail of the place, which included very attentive service. When I have a meal like that, I feel it is my duty to spread the word.
