Pinyon Ventura - Ventura

Rating: 4.4 /5
Emma Klein I’m so happy to see pinyon in Ventura! I’ve eaten at the Ojai one before and this one is a bit different but just as amazing. Food is delicious! Especially the cheese and jam share plate! Service was so great.

Eric Breakfast burrito - bacon, onion, jalapeno, potato, monterey jack. Perfection. The salsa was pretty mild so it wont overwhelm more sensitive palates. It went well with the burrito above. The onion rings are LEGIT. I would pop in just for an order of those, and I probably will in the future.

Driscoll Michael “Hillhikerz” Im reluctant to even say this publicly but these folks are making some great salsas, consistent, price is right, Im just spooning into the pie hole the mild red with nothing else... Plus dont get me started on the roasted Verde... Just saying, it works for me... !?!

Cam O Me and my gf went here around new years and the atmosphere was spot on for Sunday date night. Would highly recommend The Pad Se-Ew and some fired banana with ice cream and honey for dessert!

Vivian Ngo Came to dine in and the service was great. They were very attentive and the food was quick. They start you off with a Pandan Tea drink that actually tastes of pandan without being watered down. Do note that this place is "Modern" Pho! They do not abide by all the traditional rules and it is different, but not bad. I ordered the Pho Nam (Fatty Brisket Pho) and the Pork & Avocado Spring Rolls. Both dishes are very light. The broth was clear and they used Banh Pho noodles (Flat Medium Rice Noodles) that are more traditional in Central Vietnam - You can see them in the photos attached. The spring rolls were also very light and refreshing with tender pork and they were delicious. The portion sizes are on the smaller-medium size which I actually appreciate, although I know a lot of people that would prefer the overly large portion sizes. It was a good amount to feel full, but not like Ive overeaten. The place is very clean and maintained on the inside. The entire time I was eating, they were wiping down utensils one by one, and were hand stamping their name on the to go bags. They are meticulous with their work, and you can definitely tell! Side note - Even their disposable chopsticks were quality (and adorable. Image attached too).
