5 /5 Nestor Vega: The food here is straight up legit. The albóndigas soup is next level rich, comforting, and full of deep flavor. You can tell it’s made with care and not rushed at all. The plates are loaded. Perfect rice and beans, a solid enchilada, and tacos that hit hard. Fresh ingredients, handmade tortillas, and everything seasoned exactly how it should be. Nothing bland, nothing overdone. Great service, chill atmosphere, and the food comes out hot and fresh.

5 /5 Katama Kat: I’ll be coming back here for sure. Incredible staff , spotlessly clean, very hard-working employees. Anything you need they bring to your table and speaking of tables…these are the most beautiful tables and chairs I’ve ever seen. This restaurant used to be Rubio‘s, which is a chain restaurant. La Katrina makes chilaquiles that you can eat all day long, not just for breakfast! We also had the chili Rieno burrito, which was excellent. The only place I could find that kind of food was in LA and their salsas are incredible. Also everything fresh and clean and delicious. YUMMMOOO I’m so thankful this place was mentioned on next-door.com. I’m so happy. I caught the post because I was driving all the way into Oxnard to have this kind of good food.

5 /5 John Terndrup: Food was absolutely delicious. Kids got a quesadilla and Beef Taco, Wife got the Chicken Flautas and I got the Carne Asada Plate. Service was amazing and they treated us with such kindness from every employee we interacted with. We will definitely be back.

5 /5 Joshua Juarez: Holy frijole!!! Finally a Mexican food restaurant that I am absolutely proud of. The service to the house made everything. The food and drinks was freshly made. I ordered a couple quesabirria tacos and an al pastor “regular” taco with a side of frijoles (beans). Let me tell you, DELICIOUS, every bite of everything I tried. The chips and salsa were on point. The Quesabirria tacos came with a side of consumé (IYKYK). The al pastor Taco has pineapple in it, very traditional. The side of beans were impeccable. And real silverware! 5 stars. Can’t wait to come back for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
