Desert Moon Palm Springs - Palm Springs

Rating: 4.9 /5
G. Tony (agia) Unassuming place from the outside. We got the Baked Ziti with Shrimp and the Salmon. Also had an Ahi Tartare Wonton which was quite flavorful and finished up with a banana dessert. Food was delicious and the service top notch. Our fabulous waiter was Serge -- same guy from Toastd.

Hot City Tacos y Más! - Visalia

Rating: 4.7 /5
Brandon Davis We enjoyed some ribeye And chicken tacos. Also ordered loaded chorizo wedges. When the tacos came out we realized we ordered too much food. When the wedges came out we confirmed we were in over our heads! The wedges were amazing!!! Crispy and seasoned, and the sauce and meat just added to the perfection! The tacos were handmade tortillas, perfectly cooked meat, seemed like an avocado sauce of some sort, with a side of salsa. Man what a banger! Took home still a pound of food it seemed lol

Bonnie Machuca What an amazing experience! We were guests of a 24 person party and we were so welcomed by the staff. The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was off the hook. The drinks were so unique. I even bought a few fun items in their curio shop. Please come and support this magical place! They are a gem for the community!

Kalimera Bar and Grill - Santa Rosa

Rating: 4.8 /5
Landon Chef Ilyas Kara served us delicious, vibrant Mediterranean cuisine—fresh, flavorful, and the kind of food you genuinely feel good about eating. His service was exceptionally polite and courteous, and his enthusiasm for his craft shines through in every dish. The chicken skewer bowl was satisfying and full of clean, bright flavors. And the hummus—wow. I didn’t get a photo, but it was plated with such artistic flair, shaped like a sunburst. Almost too pretty to eat… almost. The salad dressing was so good we joked that he should bottle it—and to our surprise, Ilyas sent us home with a container of it. That small gesture really speaks to the kind of gracious, generous host he is. For parking, use the Santa Rosa Plaza/Macy’s parking garage along B Street and aim for the northeast corner; it’s just a short walk to the restaurant. And here’s a pro tip: make a reservation through OpenTable to enjoy complimentary hummus and warm pita for the table. Ilyas truly does it all—cooking, serving, running payments—so plan for a relaxed pace. Slow down, savor the flavors, and enjoy a meal made with care by someone who clearly loves what he does.

Overland Cafe - Hanford

Isaac DeLaCruz A gem in Hanford. My wife and I loved the "cowgirl burger". I wouldnt normally go for corned beef and hash, but I tried their special out since it was almost St. Pattys day, and Im glad I did. Tasted like good home cooking. Cool to check out the live cow auction as we stepped out of the cafe as well. Overall - satisfied and will return.
