Taco Twist Yuba City - Yuba City

Rating: 4.6 /5
Lax Suresh (SLK) We chanced upon this place looking for Indian food in Yuba City! They didnt disappoint, although they ran out of a lot of food choices on a Sunday night. Its a cool concept, cross between Mexican and Indian food, but mostly with traditional Punjabi food. We had the chicken Naan Tacos with Achari Mango sauce and it hit the spot. Cool vibe with lot of knick knacks like an Auto rickshaw and scooter from India , kudos for the effort, ambiance and food! Will come back soon to check out the loaded samosas:) Budget friendly $ 5/5 Taste 5/5 Ambiance 4/5 Quirkiness 5/5

Carlos Country Kitchen - Santa Rosa

Kelly Olson What a great diner experience! There are so many WONDERFUL options to choose from and it was tough to decide! They are very accommodating to make 2 egg omelettes rather than 3 and the super spuds are a skillet without eggs - which is just my jam! They can customize almost anything to suit your taste! Great food and good friendly service! So nice to find a local place with good local folks! This is a great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch in a welcoming environment with good food! Seems like a place regulars meet up! Thanks Carlos, this place is a treasure!

Grizzly Rock Cafe - Turlock

Mike Alexander The parking lot is rough as in only 3 cars when we pulled in. I kind of dig it though. They have an outdoor BBQ. This place was probably wild back in the day! Food was excellent. These are the types of places that need our support.

El Causa - Hayward

Major Reaction First time trying Peruvian food, and I was not disappointed! I went with two friends and they gave me a heads up on what was what. This truck serves different dishes depending on the day, and some items can be limited. I got the chicken al hormo (baked chicken with rice, and a vegetable salad mix), which seemed like something that was a safe choice for a first timer. The chicken was cooked to perfection with a great flavor. The rice had a nice amount of seasoning, which complimented the chicken perfectly! It was a mix of savory and spicy. The vegetable mix was colored pinkish from the beets and was on the sweeter side. I ate most of the plate very quickly and washed it down with an Inca Kola (pineapple tasting cola). My friends let me try some of their dishes and I was happy with the plate I chose. Would definitely like to come back and try the lomo saltado. The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because it was very hot that day, and we sat outside in their tent area to eat. The people who ran the truck were very sweet, and the cook even offered to make mine spicier next time, lol!

Holey Bagels & Asian Market - Ukiah

Rating: 4.8 /5
Anne Margaret White Zany, unique take on a bagel shop! Loved all the Asian grocery and snack items. The selection of bagel sandwiches was so creative - hot cheetos with cream cheese anyone? Big selection of donuts, boba drinks, and savory lunch options. We came for the croffle (croissant waffle) which was sadly absent from the menu, but hopefully it will return!

Dumpling House Mongolian Cuisine - Richmond

Erin Kiskaddon Absolutely delicious food. We ordered the mixed dumplings, spicy beef, and beef tsuivan. Very generous portions! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Best Mongolian food in the Bay Area hands down. We will be back!
