Tammy Cameron We found our new go too for a quaint, unique dinning. I love the outdoor space and appreciated the entertainment and the fact that you could still have a conversation without yelling over the top of the music. The food and menu were right on par. I LOVE Italian food but appreciated that they also had steak and some other options. The entire place smelled amazing with garlic and cheese, every plate that I saw come out was beautiful and portions were not lacking. The waitress was polite and attentive as well as the other staff we encountered. I love that they allow dogs on the patio and that they also have a full bar. The only disappointment was that I made a reservation the Thursday before for 6:30pm on the patio for Saturday and when we arrived, it was a good thing I had an email confirmation because whomever took the call apparently never wrote it in the book, so my only suggestion is to make sure you get your email confirmation before you go. We will be going back FOR SURE and can’t wait.

Rose Anne With an epic name and storefront I was really curious about interior design, which sent me back 100+ years ago, felt like something from a time piece movie. The food was absolutely delicious. Its a gourmet twist on all armenian favorite foods, and they pulled it off. Stunning presentation of the plate, attention to detail, prepared to perfection. If anyone is interested to have a lovely romantic night out for armenian food, you will certainly impress your date. They can accommodate a large group. Live music with piano, band, and singer, tonight was soft jazz. Im very impressed by staff. Cutlery and plates were renewed with every course.

W Nicola After a long, hot 250-mile motorcycle ride down from the Sierras, Cast Iron Grill & Bar was exactly what we needed. The vibe at the bar was relaxed and welcoming, with a great selection of beers on tap. My riding partner suggested the Michelob Ultra — ice cold, just the way you want it after a day in the sun. (Besides, as Billy Bob Thornton says, drinking Ultra is “not really drinking” — so we felt good about going for the 20 oz!) The menu blew us away — more like a fine dining restaurant than your average bar and grill. We were torn on what to order until our server, Candace, raved about the bone-in pork chop with sautéed mushrooms. She was absolutely right. Between the perfectly cooked chop, the rich pan sauce, and the creamy puréed potatoes, this meal felt like a well-earned reward for the ride. Candace’s recommendation made the night, and our dinner at Cast Iron Grill ended up being the highlight of our 1,500-mile trip. Highly recommended if you find yourself in the area!

jane Kisluk Excellent wings and the blue cheese dressing was so rich with chin is of blue cheese. Coffee was excellent. Came right before closing on Sunday at 2:40pm and service was excellent & fast. After a long flight and drive, this was perfect stopover on a whim! Highly recommend!

Erika Kelsh Three Ladies Café is such a wonderful little spot in Davis! The food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can really tell everything is made with care — from the sandwiches and salads to their breakfast plates and drinks. It’s the kind of place that instantly brightens your day. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive — they make you feel genuinely welcome the moment you walk in. The service is quick but never rushed, and the atmosphere is clean, cozy, and relaxing. Whether you’re stopping by for a quiet breakfast, lunch with a friend, or a quick coffee break, it always feels peaceful and inviting. Their ingredients taste fresh and high-quality, and the portions are generous without being heavy. It’s perfect for anyone who wants wholesome food that still feels like a treat. Three Ladies Café has become one of my favorite go-to spots in Davis — delicious food, friendly faces, and a calm, local vibe that’s hard to find anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Anne This is one of my favorite Vietnamese places in Oakland- food is delicious, service is excellent, and interior is nice. Would be good for a cute little date night. My favorite appetizer to get is the Banh Khot. Absolutely yummy! It’s crispy and has just the right amount of coconut and flavor. I’ve been here multiple times and it’s something I always order. I don’t think i’ve had anything bad from this place. Their drinks are really good as well. It’s a bit on the pricey side for Viet food, but it’s well worth for the taste and quality. Parking is on the street and I typically don’t have an issue finding something nearby.
