Jason Holland Five stars all the way! Emma, our server, was super friendly and effortlessly handled our big group (10) She let us combine tables, took all our orders and split the checks beforehand, brought out our salads and chili before the mains, and kept our drinks full. The steak was amazing, and the cornbread was to die for. Felt like VIPs! We even stayed for their famous milkshakes and believe it or not .. we were happy to pay the bill. Thank u Emma and Mels staff!

Bandana Garg Good Salvadorian food. In general the items we ordered were all delicious. The portion sizes is also good. The outside seating is well heated and doesnt feel cold. Tres leches is very good. The flan has a punch but good.

Andi Kriegler If youre heading up hwy 41 to the Sierras and find youre hungry, dont bother with Fresno. Just keep going until you arrive at Papis. You wont be disappointed. The service was fast & friendly, our drinks were made to our specifications, the food was fresh & delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommend the Seafood enchiladas suiza....jam-packed with really yummy shrimp and scallops, and the ceviche was so refreshing. This appears to be a new establishment so I really hope it makes it in these tough economic times.

Michael Jenkins Excellent fried chicken and waffles. I dont really go for anything else but I hear the other food is good too. I sat on the patio for this particular visit and really enjoyed being outside instead of in the main dining room which can get kind of loud at times. Thats the only reason why I took on star off of atmosphere. If you want a quieter meal, and the weather is nice, definitely ask to sit outside on the patio.

Castillo Sr First time here and after a long day in Mexicali and the temperature was unbearable we hurried up and crossed the border. Truthfully we where hungry and we just had to get out of the heat. We wanted some good Italian food. Both my wife and I where happy w our food and drinks, we ordered lunch for two, this place did not disappoint. We would definitely recommend to friends and we will be back as well.

loren W This restaurant had a good healthy menu with a lot of different menu items from fish to vegan foods. The food was very good and presentation nicely done.
