Via-Mar Grill & Bar - Cantina - Ontario

Kayla W Wonderfully delicious food!! We went during a very slow lunch in the middle of the week while visiting for a convention because it was conveniently located. The service was attentive and didnt mind that we ask to sit outside even though no one else was out there. The ceviche was so tasty and the tomatillo salsa on the cheese enchiladas was amazing. The fish taco was the star though. Tasty tortilla with perfectly portioned and breaded fish. Will definitely be back if were back in the area!

Ellery Every year we go to Dawsons for my birthday. Brandon is an amazing server and remembers his customers and makes it feel both like fine dining and also like you visit every day. Emery is attentive and the manager Liz heard us talking about my birthday and made sure I got a little chocolate birthday chip with my desert making it feel so special. 5 stars doesnt feel like enough!

Shannon Harris Did an order online but called twice because we missed something . The person on the phone couldn’t be more accommodating, he was so nice! Daughter was even worried that the gluten free cauliflower crust looked too good once we had it and called again to double check. Turns out it IS the gluten free crust, BEST one she’s ever had since being diagnosed with celiacs last Spring. Looked JUST like regular pizza crust and tasted great to all of us. Loved my pasta dish with herb butter sauce and husband loved his short rib ravioli with Alfredo. We will definitely order again, we’ve been missing out.

Sapore Ditalia Ristorante - Madera

Lurdes Rivera We decided to go to the Madera Flea Market, then the Goodwill store near by. The weather was warm, cool and breezy. We both got hungry and decided to have Italian food. We found Sapore Ditalia Ristorante and found gold. We ordered lasagna and a small house salad to share. Wow! Fabulous customer service from Amanda. Atmosphere is quaint and the food was so delicious! A great addition to our fine dining and I would highly recommend it to my friends and family if you happen to be in Madera.

Gabby Gonzalez This was a fantastic place! Upon entering it’s a beautifully decorated restaurant bar & very inviting when you enter the doors. Greeted & seated immediately, we were there around 1pm for lunch. The menu had so many good choices it was hard to pick. We got the buttermilk ribs for an appetizer & omg I wanted another plate right after we finished them. They just fell off the bone & were fried to perfection. The sauce it comes with was a nice pairing as well. Then we got a burger, again, cooked to perfection & had nice toppings for it as well, the pickled onions was a nice touch. Loves this place & I will definitely be back for those buttermilk ribs!!

MONARCA MEXICAN TAQUERIA - Hayward

Rating: 4.7 /5
Andrea Ceballos My husband and I just had dinner at Mornaca for the first time, and it was such a pleasant surprise. We learned that the restaurant changed ownership about six months ago, and the new owners are truly doing something special here. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with chips and refried beans topped with cheese. The beans instantly took me back, they have that authentic, comforting Mexican flavor, like something my abuelita would make at home. We were craving street tacos and ordered the carne asada and tripa (tripe). What really stood out was that they asked how we wanted the tripa cooked. We asked for medium well, and it was hands down the best tripa we’ve had in the area, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also ordered an agua de jamaica, which was absolutely perfect, not overly sweet. The owner even offered to add sugar, but it honestly didn’t need it. I usually never finish an agua fresca, and I finished every last sip. The owners are from Michoacán and Jalisco, so you already know the food will not disappoint. As a nice bonus, while you’re waiting for your food, they have games you can grab and play at the table. Overall, Monarca Mexican Taqueria is definitely a place worth checking out. Delicious food, thoughtful service, and a welcoming atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back.
