The Warming Hut - Mammoth Lakes

Rating: 4.5 /5
Daniela Hollis The pictures don’t portray how GOOD this place is! We come here every time we come to mammoth. I had the tomato bisque, it was so fresh and tasty. I order just a plain burger for entree and it is honestly the best burger I’ve had at a restaurant. The buns are fluffy and spongy and the meat tasty and fresh. Fries are home made and so is the ketchup. We have also ordered the Texan burger, it has brisket and the meat is so juicy and tender. Everything is cooked right here. Service great too.

Huckleberrys Breakfast & Lunch - Tracy

T Louie (Big Lou) Good hearty breakfast. Having lived in the south I couldnt give them five stars. Gravy was good, not great. Good food, would go back.

Corkfire Kitchen - Temecula

Rating: 4.5 /5
Janet Arqui. Momtraveler1 This is in Temecula and I love the ambiance in and outside the restaurant. If you love golf this is the place to hang out, and if you like brunch I really recommend this. My favorite dish is their dessert pudding. It’s pretty big and you can share it with your friends. They also have great wine selections. I went during lunch and met with my girlfriends. Our server was very kind and patient to us.

Firehouse Pizza - Clearlake Oaks

Rating: 4 /5
McLaughlin Sean (Gloff) We needed some quick Sunday grub, ordered 3 medium pizzas, a salad and the garlic twists. Great pizza, not just for Clearlake, but on is own! Best ranch Ive had in a while! Wife said the salad was phenomenal as well. The garlic sticks were excellent, they use a bread Ive never had as a garlic twist, and it was surprising, but tasty. Only criticism would be the garlic sticks are a touch too chewy.

JDs Mission Steakhouse - Jurupa Valley

Rating: 4.4 /5
Lisa Jeffers My sister loves this place and I agreed to meet her, my brother-in-law and my niece there. I arrived first and was underwhelmed by the decor. BUT!!! Do NOT let that turn you away! The hostess was kind and friendly and asked if I wanted to be seated first but I said I would wait. After my family arrived, we were seated promptly and the service by Oscar was exceptional! He was professional but so helpful, pleasant and friendly, he really made the evening a great experience! And the food is amazing! We shared the brussel sprouts - so yummy and crispy! (We ordered the balsamic dressing on the side.) I had the lamb and it was seasoned well and cooked perfectly to my request! The asparagus was tender-crisp and the chipotle mac and cheese was delicious! It was not soupy or mushy - nice al dente with a nuanced smokey flavor. They have a new drink menu and the martinis we saw on the way out looked great! They also have a Sunday Brunch which I will have to try!

Metro City Restaurant & Bar - Sunnyvale

Rating: 4.3 /5
Maxim Lowe This is the biggest and tastiest burger in town. Metro is affordable ($5 drink happy hour!), portions are delicious and huge, and the service is the best part. Julie always takes great care of us. They are super kid-friendly and have a big bucket of toys for them. We’ve been coming here twice a month for a while. Great place for the family!
