Yigal Zibari I had an absolutely unforgettable experience at Upper West! I visited last week to celebrate a friends birthday, and we came as a large group—about 15 of us. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff were not only incredibly friendly but also impressively knowledgeable, accommodating and flexible. . Its clear they take pride in what they serve. I ordered the Veggie Burger and it was hands down the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. It even came with house-made ketchup that took it to another level. Every bite was pure satisfaction. chef’s kiss To complement it, I had the Strawberry Fields cocktail. Refreshing, just the right amount of sweet, and tasted just as amazing as it looked. One of the highlights? Our server surprised us with a generous tray featuring every dessert on the menu— ON THE HOUSE!!! Talk about next-level hospitality! I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly, highly recommend!

Lara What an absolute gem! My husband and I were looking for a new place to try in Ventura and we found Cafe Zack and decided to give it a try based on all of the great reviews. Cafe Zack did not disappoint! The restaurant has a small cozy interior space, a beautiful bar area and a lovely outdoor space that can accommodate small or large groups. They even have cute little chair shaped purse hangers at each table on the patio which was such a special little touch. The wait staff are incredible. Very friendly and attentive. Thank you to our awesome server, Matt, who truly made us feel welcome. The food was excellent. We started with the split pea soup which was flavored perfectly. I had the Norwegian salmon which was cooked perfectly and included roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables. My husband had the filet mignon which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We were so full that we did not have any room for dessert but we will definitely be back again to enjoy this amazing restaurant.

Brian Garneau The chorizo and octopus rigatoni special was one of the best dishes Ive ever had. Im thinking positive thoughts that itll make itself into the daily menu. You have to try the squash and burrata appetizers. The staff is amazing.

Priscilla F My husband took me here for my 30th birthday dinner two weeks ago. The atmosphere, food and hospitality was amazing. The manager, Jimmy, stopped by our table to say hello, and shared with us the history of The Sardine Factory as well as provided us a tour. It was such a wonderful experience. He provided me a very special memory of my 30th. We could tell he enjoys what he does, which made us happy to see. He was also very kind and attentive. I loved everything about it and will definitely be back. Thank you, Jimmy, for providing me such a wonderful birthday experience! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Granum Lance (TheDudeRN) Hidden in the middle of a strip mall, a bit of Class A, a bit of Elegance, a bit of upscale. The prices reflect the upscale atmosphere, but not to the extreme that some might expect. Some things are expensive, while others are not. You can have a great dinner, and depending on how hungry you are, you will have an excellent meal for the price. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying vegetables were also excellent. The baked potato was the best Ive had in a long time. The layout for the baked potato was done in a classy, individual serving style. Our party had a great time. We were not pressured or overindulged by the wait staff, and the waitress was excellent. This is the best dining experience Ive had in Fresno in years. Although it is at the upper end of my affordability scale, I will put it on my list of two to three times a year. And try to get back there for a special event, maybe a quiet dinner with just someone special. I did not break out the camera for much in the way of food or photos. I will review that on the next trip. This was really just about the experience and the company. The company was great. The friends enjoyed the meal, and we all had a good time. A party of four, our seating time in the booth was about 2 hours. The dinner check was over $200 for four people, but thats not too bad considering some of them had cocktails and some of us didnt. Guess who did not? Thats right, the 35 year long designated driver.One day at a time! I will be back, I guarantee it. Thank you for a fantastic night, Manhattan!35-year-long

Chethan B Exceptional experience! We were welcomed with champagne, caviar, and warm bread. The crab cake, prawn spaghetti, and Caramel Sunset were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. A perfect blend of taste and elegance. Staff were very good and helpful—great service all around. Highly recommended!
