Melinda Antirien This was fun. Havent been in a long time since Im not from the area. The food was really still pretty good! The server was great, and the cook was very nice and thoughtful! We did enjoy ourselves! Our cook did a great job and caught all of his shrimp tails and eggs lol. The train was so cute! For us, I think they need a refresh. I feel like its the same show forever. It is not the cooks fault by any means, but the company should invest in cool new tricks or entertainment. Maybe every 6 months or year, come up with something new. I remember back in the day, the show was more elaborate and fun. The decor could also use an update. Also, we were under the air vent and almost froze the entire time, but the rest of the restaurant had floor air conditioners with giant hoses all over. Maybe part of the buildings a/c was out? Im not sure. But it definitely could have used a refresh. I just think for the price, there could have been a little more. Delicious, yes, absolutely. But people are paying a lot of money now to go out and want a value. We paid close to $250 for 3 people without drinks. We all had water and NO appetizers! Its just a bit high.

To William What a view! There not much I can say about it except come early because the good tables by the window get taken quickly. We got there 18 min after they opened and we got the last table next to the window. We just had drinks and no food, just enjoyed the sunset over the concrete jungle. The pictures and videos don’t do it justice, especially on the clear San Francisco day we had. First time we came here the service was okay but the most recent time, it was top tier. I will always make it a point to come here whenever I’m on the area.

A W The Modern Kitchen is a hidden gem in LB. Every dish I have had is exceptional. You can tell when food is prepared with love. My go to dishes are the hatch chile dip, tuna melt and the homemade soups are divine. My favorites are the tomato bisque and Italian wedding soup. You will not be disappointed with any selection.

Clare Bozzo Easily the BEST dinner in SB. Superior to a number of restaurants in the area(even those with Michelin stars). I’ve been here by myself, with a group of 3-5, 20+ guests AND 120+ guests and the quality and service is consistent and incredible. EVERY. TIME. The service and the food are above and beyond. Every time I’ve come in I ask the for the 4-course meal and I have NEVER been disappointed. They always change it up and if there is ever something that sticks out to me on the menu they will accommodate the ask and incorporate it into the meal. My personal favorite is to sit at the bar. Jess always takes the best care and is beyond exceptional. She been here since being at the old location (reflecting the consistent quality and excellent ownership of Black Sheep). Jess is quick, knows the menu inside and out, and honestly, she is true, top-tier talent. You will not regret visiting here. This is a staple to Santa Barbara and one to remember!!

Linda Luong First time eating at the Hungry Hunter Steakhouse. Ive heard of the restaurant, but there arent any where I live. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Seth was very helpful and came back to check up on us often. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, a cup of clam chowder, and a prime rib. Everything was delicious! The prime rib was cooked to a perfect medium rare.
