Alisa B. I was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed all of the food. What an underrated find. Im pretty picky when it comes to Chinese food, but everything I have eaten here is pretty top notch. This is the perfect place to have a family dinner or a nice meal with a big group of people. + Roasted Duck: Crispy skin, juicy meat, and perfectly seasoned! Not overly fatty. This is a must order! A classic dish. + Fish Fillet with Broccoli: Very tender fish with a light salted sauce. Very simple and refreshing. + Crab Meat with Fish Maw Soup: Pretty bland and just tasted like egg whites. I had to add a bit of soy sauce. I wasnt too impressed, but they do give you generous portions of seafood. + Beef Chow Fun: SO GOOD! Tenderized beef, perfectly cooked flat noodles, and seasoned very well. Not too oily or salty. Bean sprouts were nice and crunchy too. + Walnut Shrimp: Big shrimp! The perfect amount of batter! Crispy and has a tangy mayo sauce. Addicting flavor with the candied walnuts. + Iced Milk Tea: Pretty decent! It has a pleasant black tea taste and it has a very light milkiness. Great deal for $3 :)

Saigon Restaurant - Tracy

Harsha Lakshmanan There is Vietnamese and then there is this Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant on Naglee Road in Tracy that elevates flavor to a whole different level. I had the Saigon Beef Stew Noodle Soup and the Saigon Crispy Eggrolls and both were superb! The soup was so good that it was hard to stop drinking it even when I was full. The potions are huge. If you add the excellent service, very helpful staff and quick delivery of the food, this has to be one of the best places to eat!!

Chereylle Aromin Weve been coming here for years. They serve breakfast all day. Their ribs are my favorite; ask for center cut for juicier and tender meat. There are plenty of selections for sides and pies for dessert. I definitely recommend this place for ribs. All the staff are friendly, too!

Black Bear Diner Vallejo - Vallejo

Life Black Bear Diner – Amazing Breakfast Experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife and I stopped by Black Bear Diner in Vallejo for breakfast, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated right away. The service was top-notch—both the waitress and hostess were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Our food came out quickly, and it looked incredible. I’m happy to report it tasted just as amazing as it looked! The gravy was among the best I’ve ever had—rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. My scrambled eggs with tomatoes, green peppers, and spinach were cooked to perfection, exactly the way I like them. My wife ordered the French toast, and it was spot on—light, fluffy, and full of flavor. Each bite was a treat, and we both agreed it was a 10 out of 10 experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast. If you’re in Vallejo and looking for a delicious meal with great service, Black Bear Diner is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!

Katelyn Hernandez I meant to do this earlier but ya. We when here on December 16th. The place was so beautiful with the lights and beautiful bar. The host (pink hair lady) was really nice and gave us the best table the place. Waiter ( Eugene I think?) was super helpful and friendly. Gave us great suggestions on what to eat and drink. The espresso martini was fantastic! Everything from the bar and kitchen was delicious! It was a special night for my mom and me to thank you for making it even better! Definitely coming back

Bodegón No.69 - Pasadena

Kimberly Puente Bodegon No 69 may have been a hidden gem until now, but after our recent experience, it deserves to be on everyones radar! From the moment we approached the entrance, we could feel the warmth and welcoming ambiance that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The dim lighting, rustic décor, and cozy atmosphere made it the perfect setting for a relaxing family dinner. I dined with a group of eight family members, and despite our large party size, we were greeted with genuine hospitality by the staff as soon as we walked in. The service was seamless from start to finish. Our waiter, Joseph, was nothing short of exceptional. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and vibrant personality elevated our dining experience. He was patient in answering all of our questions about the dishes and made thoughtful recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Its rare to find such dedicated service these days, and Joseph really set the standard high. As for the food, we decided to sample a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes to get a true taste of what Bodegon No 69 had to offer. We ordered the Ceviche B69, Lomo Saltado, Tallarin Saltado, Anticucho, Bisteck a lo Pobre, and Chancho al Palo. Each dish was not only beautifully plated but also packed with layers of authentic flavor. The Ceviche B69, a highlight of the meal, was refreshing and expertly balanced with citrus, spice, and the perfect texture of fresh fish. The Lomo Saltado was incredibly flavorful, with tender pieces of beef stir-fried to perfection alongside onions, tomatoes, and crispy fries. The Tallarin Saltado, a noodle dish, had a delightful mix of stir-fried vegetables and savory chicken, bursting with umami flavors. The Anticucho, grilled skewers of marinated beef heart, was a bold and delightful choice--perfectly tender with just the right amount of smokiness. The Bisteck a lo Pobre, a hearty plate of steak served with fried eggs, plantains, rice, and fries, was comfort food at its finest. The Chancho al Palo, a roasted pork dish, was succulent and tender, with crispy skin that made it impossible to stop eating. What really impressed us was the attention to detail in every dish. You could taste the care that went into each plate, the freshness of the ingredients, the precision of the cooking, and the authenticity of the flavors. Every bite transported us to Peru, making it more than just a meal but an experience in itself. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. This is Peruvian cuisine done right, and we are so glad we found this place. Bodegon No 69 has now earned a permanent spot on my list of favorite restaurants, and we will undoubtedly be back to explore even more of the menu. A special shoutout to Joseph for making our night so memorable, his outstanding service truly added to the overall magic of the evening. Whether youre familiar with Peruvian food or trying it for the first time, Bodegon No 69 is an absolute must-visit. If youre lucky enough to have Joseph as your waiter, your experience will be even better. We cant wait to return for another round of amazing food!
