5 /5 Jennifer Whitman: I have to say that these sandwiches are worth EVERY penny, but more importantly..... I recently had a strange complaint (it happens, nobody is perfect). Though, it was the way it was handled.... we had a terrible phone connection and I couldnt hear what the gentleman was saying and Im sure he couldnt hear what I was saying either. I was at work, in a hurry, and just tried to be clear due to the lack of being able to hear clearly.... anyhow, I actually received a call back with a beautiful voice message saying they would be happy to make my experience better. Even on a bad day, believe me, that sandwich didnt go to waste!!! Its not about my complaint nor was the order bad (everything was good) what really hit me was the care and customer service. Oak deli, if you read this, Ill be back! Thank you for the call. I dont need anything more, it was ate up with fat bellies and big smiles. Im glad to know people care. Thank you! Looking forward to our next encounter

3 /5 KD: Its a cute little spot with outdoor and indoor seating. Employees were nice. They had a busy day so there was no bread and we got the last gluten free wrap. Ordered the cowboy and it was pretty small compared to other photos that Id seen that were loaded with meat. The BBQ sauce was overpowering with some saltiness from the pastrami. The beef and barley soup had a good savory flavor but lacked the beef. Pretzel was nice and soft with a golden outside. The Vienna artisan beer was enjoyable. The sun shines in on their refrigerated glass food and beverage display, I understand Arcata is not a sunny place all the time but I personally wouldnt want to purchase items being in direct sunlight for periods of time.

5 /5 Kacy Romano: Absolutely delicious! I had the brie & prosciutto, and it was delicious! I also had the caesar salad, and their dressing (clearly homemade) was scrumptious. My order was to go, and it did take 35 minutes to get it made, but it was more than worth it!
