Outbound Mammoth - (Near Mammoth Lakes, CA)

5 /5 Mikaela Gauer: I’ll get straight to the point. I wasn’t sure if I should book this hotel due to the mixed reviews, but I was looking for something last minute that was pet friendly on my way from Tahoe to LA. I’m so glad that I did. The people at the front desk were very helpful with my luggage and guided me to my room. I went over to Bar Sierra for dinner and and was immediately impressed with the service - particularly Will, who greeted me from behind the bar and made excellent recommendations for both food and beverage. My dinner (kale salad with salmon) and mezcal cocktail were both fantastic. (I lived in NYC for 16 years; so trust me I am a food snob). The chef knows what he is doing. I had a glass of wine post dinner at the wine bar and had an awesome convo with Chip, the Sommelier. Also super knowledgeable and friendly. The room itself is quiet, super clean, the bed is comfortable and most importantly, my dog is happy. Five stars all around.

5 /5 Hailey Osterc: Absolutely wonderful!! We had the best time here. The staff was incredibly friendly and so welcoming. The entire hotel and grounds is dog friendly and our golden doodle had the best time! The restaurant on site is delicious and the wine bar in the lobby was outstanding with premium wines. Will be back!

5 /5 Effy: Staying at this hotel felt like pure luck. It genuinely made our entire trip so much better. We actually spent two nights at The Village Lodge Mammoth and two nights here, and honestly… I kept thinking, why did we even pay so much to stay at The Village Lodge? From the moment we checked in at Outbound Mammoth, the vibes were immaculate. The staff was incredibly friendly and even upgraded us to a better room than what we originally booked, which immediately put us in a great mood. Everything about this place was on point—the bar, restaurant, pool, and overall atmosphere were flawless. The location was also a huge win. It’s even more convenient than staying near the Village, with amazing restaurants and grocery stores just around the corner. We’ll absolutely be staying here again next time—no question. Already can’t wait to come back!

5 /5 Eric Frick: Loved our stay here! The lobby was beautiful with a massive fire pit and amazing wine bar. The rooms were very cute. Saw some mixed reviews online, but this hotel is perfect for location and a nice bed and place to stay. Would highly highly recommend.

2 /5 Jon Emerson: The concept seemed awesome. But our fireplace was broken, the shower barely worked, and to top it all off -- even the phone was broken. And it seemed like theres one 8-person hot tub for the entire property? It was certainly full on a January night!!
