Petit Soleil - (Near Napa, CA)

Jeff Ho This is an excellent Il Fornaio location. We had our office holiday lunch today. What a beautiful way to celebrate. We sat outside and they have heaters above. It was a nice quiet area to have conversations. All the food tasted great. The memorable dishes were the calamari $22 and my shrimp pasta $28. The calamari was tender, easy to chew and coated with a light batter. As for the shrimp pasta, it had this light green pesto sauce with soft crushed pistachio nuts. Service was excellent. The waiter even helped us take a group photo. Bonus points for taking our photo in focus. The only minor nit was pizzas were not available. I wanted to order some pizzas to share. They had some really good looking pies online. Perhaps next time.

Jackie Hamer The fajita bowls were delicious and plentiful. The margaritas and bloody marys were fantastic. We especially liked sitting outside on the patio along a beautiful stream. Emily, our server, was friendly and efficient. The prices were terrific. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Liliana M Came here with some friends while checking out Old Auburn after reading the good reviews of this place. When we came it was so busy! It definitely seems like a go to place for a lot of peeps. Parking was a little tricky because it was busy. The cafe is so pretty inside and the staff are friendly. We sat inside on the lower level but from what it looked like there was seating somewhere outside and upstairs. It was busy all throughout the space! They have decent/standard pricing for food and drinks I would say, not sure if things have changed since I was last here. The food is good and I would definitely come back to try more times! I had gotten an iced chai and a sandwich and both were nice. They were a great brunch/lunch combo before we went around the nearby shops. Definitely check it out!

Mike Wickstrom “MEH” about covers it. My wife booked us a 5:30 reservation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It appears outdoor was only available, didn’t appear busy and we asked to be seated to the left since the sewage smell didn’t seem as strong on that side. Hostess said she only had a small table for two. That side of patio was completely void of any customers and there was much roomier available table 3 feet from us. Not sure why we had to be at the mini table. First the beverages came and they brought my wife the wrong drink, my soda was flat. Then bread and appetizer came out. My wife’s meal came out first. She waited a while then started eating while it was still warm. She really paced herself otherwise I would have watched her eat her entire plate and then she would have had to watch me eat mine when it finally came out. They had to come out at least 10 minutes apart. The waitress and hostess were nice, the food was ok, but it just didn’t add it up to good dining experience.

Claire Vozel My 100% favorite place to eat in Goleta! I could come here every day - the vibes are fantastic, staff is super super friendly, and the food is super good. They always have on great music, too. The poké bowls are my favorite; also love the clam chowder. Don’t miss on their frozen prepared food btw - you can buy their soup bases or other frozen sea food at a good price in the back corner. They also carry a lot of unique/hard to find-in-SB Asian/global drinks, condiments, etc. !!
