4 /5 Matt C in Redding: This place has been around forever! As I recall, they changed hands several years ago and the same people own Maxwells. They have the selection of food, always been good. Service is usually good, depending on the time you are there. It has a fun, old school feel to it and isnt too loud (Like Maxwells). I love wraps and they had a great turkey n swiss wrap that was probably more heathly looking than it was, but it tasted great. UPDATE!! new owners are amazing, great new menu, super good food.. keeping this landmark alive and well!

5 /5 Jessica Darling: Oh my golly, the meat in these burgers is AMAZING. Its got to be ground steak. The quality of this food is far above what youd expect from a hole in the wall bar and grill. The onion rings... Do you see that picture? Theyre even better than they look. Go here. Just do it.

5 /5 Kelly Calapp: Went to Sunday Brunch last weekend while we were in town for an event at the race track based off reviews and it didnt disappoint. Atmosphere - looks like a typical sports bar setup with big televisions, bar tables, etc..but dont be fooled. These people know how to strap the feed bag on. Their approach to Sunday Brunch is unique. They have an option for a flat fee/all you can eat menu which was $40 with bottomless mimosas or $28 for food only. We dont drink so we chose the "food only" option. Heres how it works: They have a decent selection on the "all you can eat" menu. You can order 2 items at a time on an unlimited basis. The dishes are like "small plates" so if you order eggs benedict, youll get one english muffin half with the ham/egg/hollandaise...or if you order chicken fried steak, you get a small-ish portion with gravy (not a whole entire breakfast). Very unique. With this "small plate" approach you can try quite a few of their items before you want to crawl off to a corner and hibernate for the winter. This place is busy, so dont get pissy about "quick service". Just be patient and enjoy it. Our waitperson was awesome and personable..kinda like my mom if I actually liked my mother. If this is your mom, good on you..shes a gem! We spent almost 2 hours there visiting and enjoying the experience. Were definitely going to return the next time were in Redding. Its a good thing we dont live there...I could see this becoming a real problem for me if we did.

5 /5 Nancy Dobson: Great lunch or dinner spot. Friendly staff. Clean and spacious. Unique decor. We had a Cajun Burger with fries and a Veggie Melt with side salad. Everything tasted great.

4 /5 Stephanie Gallardo: This visit food wasnt as good as previously but still good! Service was great and though a week night it was steady busy, not rushed. I do recommend trying the specials, so far theyve been great!
